  1. The longterm damage he could do within 3 years could be irreversible damage.

    Disturbing to even think about.

You'll have done yourself irreversible damage within 3 years. Spouting the exact same shite on here dozens of times a day. Get some perspective FFS.

Its McLeish apologists who need to get some perspective or least put some effort into trying to conjure up some more lame excuses for his diabolical Premiership record rather than resorting to crap insults.

  2. NDINLT, are you Oliver Holt or something? Give it a rest ffs. Have a tug or something and just relax man.

This topic has turned into the remnants of one of Paul Faulkners morning dumps.

I for one think McLeish is a decent man with proven premiership experience, lets just wait and see what happens in the summer once he has a bit of moolah to shape the team to what he wants it to be.

    :crylaugh:

Are you Paul Faulkner or something?

  3. We wont go down but to be in the dunces half of the league with this squad (even with its faults) is unacceptable.

6 wins in 24 games is exceptionally shit as is McLeish's 'Premiership experience'.

Dread to think of what his woeful legacy will be after 3 years of his utter sh1te mismanagement.

I never wanted him as manager, don't really want him now either, but his record after same amount of games is better than MON's first season with same amount of games and better than Houllier who had more and better players. He ain't gonna get sacked, so I'll reserve full 100% on him by seeing what he does in the summer or how he starts next season. If he starts signing players like Steven Davis, then he can jog on!

Are you seriously trying to compare this season with first season MON took over??

  4. People on this forum who actually believe that Mcleish will come good at Villa are even more deluded than the idiot that forked out £3 million to get the tit in the first place.

    Well said.

I mean we all HOPE Mcleish will magically stop being shit.

But when reality is so obviously staring you in the face that he is shit and has previous form of being shit and completely out of his depth in this league you cant just pretend everything is OK.

    It was a joke appointment.

His record thus far with us is bloody dreadful - worse than many feared it would be - a truly pathetic win ratio thats utterly embarrasing.

Shit manager - shouldn't be in the Premiership - simple as that

    The board should be ashamed.

  5. Fact is McLeish would be on the dole if it weren't for our stupid board.

    And that's a fact is it ?

    No of course not.

Of course Birmingham were not about sack him. No not at all!

And of course even if they did he would have easily found work back in the Premiership .

There would have been a rush by Premier league clubs to appoint him

and would have ended up at either Man City or Man United who desperately crave McLeish's unrivaled pedigree in 'Premiership experience'

  6. Well we'd all love for McLeish to have a road to damascus conversion and stop being crap.

But he has been crap with us -utter crap with his stupid decisions in games , his awful win % and his stats for this year are diabolical mirror image of his miserable failed Birmingham side last season.

Maybe he is on that road now for all we know. Football is a funny game, teams / tactics / players can just click for no apparent reason and the bad times are soon forgotten. Supporting the Villa has always been like this and I suspect always will be so I have reconciled that with myself.

We could all make ourselves a lot happier supporting other teams that win but we don't. We have no real influence on what happens down there unless 25 k have the exact same POV, history proves this I think.

Don't forget the game is English, it's out game and after all that we know about football the FA can't even pick the right manager after 40 + years, yes we have been desperately unlucky to get MOn, GH and AMC in a row but what can we do ?

Well you don't give yourself a starting chance as a club when you appoint a manager based on 'Premiership experience' when that experience consists of doing shite and relegation.

We're a mirror image of Birmingham stat wise so far.

To be in bottom half of league at this stage with this squad (despite its faults) is unacceptable.

McLeish was and is a terrible appointment and almost certainly a detrimental one - both short term and longterm.

What a manager has done beforehand is no measure of what he will do.

    :?

Erm just take a look at McLeishs miserable results and stats THIS season with US.

6 wins in 24 games

3 home wins all season

    Utter shit sub decisions

some of the worse Villa games EVER seen (Spurs , Man U , Liverpool)

Loss at home to Bolton B team in Carling cup

13th in Prem dunces bottom half of league

    Signing Hutton and Jenas

    McLeish = :oops: :oops: :oops:

  8. Fact is McLeish would be on the dole if it weren't for our stupid board.

    CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+C, CTRL+V

Are you related to our stupid board by chance?

You seem very defensive for this shit manager.

    *sigh*

No, I was referring to the fact you keep posting exactly the same sentences. I've heard dance music less repetitive. Never mind, carry on.

All ive heard you utter is whimsical shite about nothing.

Youve not even made a half hearted attempt at trying to argue any position on McLeish.

All you do is try to sneer (rather crapply i might add) at those who rightly call out McLeish for what he is -IE- a shit manager - who is not good enough for a Premier league side.

  9. The only cringeworthy things are the excuses of McLeish like "SHA always go down anyway" and "his 9th one season" despite the fact yeah he has fallen down the league more times than he has stayed up.

    Agreed.

Mick McCarthy has much better record than McLeish in Premiership and internationally yet Wolves fans want him sacked.

Gary Megson has better Premiership record than McLeish. Yes he has - kept Bolton up.

That is the caliber of manager we now have in McLeish - utter crap mis-managing us - yet some are still in denial of what a shit manager we have .

  10. I keep seeing on here Pro Mcliesh Villa fans telling others to 'support the team',, 'get off his back', or just say stupid things about the people who don't rate Mcleish. Yet I haven't seen a comment from a Villa fan that’s against saying that they go to games to slag him off or boo the team. I have, however, seen many comments, posted by fans sceptical of McLeish, supported by good points believe he will take us backwards. The majority of these fans, I believe, are just worried with what could happen over the next few years, and it’s easy to see why.

What I am yet to see is a sensible argument as to why McLeish deserved the job, or an explanation as to why he will do a good job. Please don’t say he’s to stay, just get on with it, because that is such a pathetic attitude to have.

Some of the silly comments also go on about SHA being Championship and that's their level, this is nonsensical, especially considering many smaller clubs have managed to survive in the league for more than 1 year, and with much poorer teams.

    Well said.

I guess some feel obliged to play devils advocate to such a blatant stupid appointment - on any level.
