Yes poor Tony. Its all down to FFP.
Why would we cash in early when its FFP for the upcoming season that is the issue? The failure to pay tax has nothing to do with ffp. And ceo's are suspended all the time aren't they? Common practice.
Like i said, you ignore it all if you need to defend him.
I didnt say it was all down to FFP, I simply stated a fact that the owner cant just throw cash at the club like they could 10 years ago.
Cashing in early could have made us compliant this year for all we know.
I didnt say the last two were to do with FFP but we also dont know why these have cropped up.
I'm not his media spokesperson I am worried too, but there is no point speculating and presenting it as fact. -

Proof of what ?
Why do you think there have been all those headlines, the suspension of Wyness, and notice of an HMRC winding up order ? - do you honestly think none of that is true ?
No, all of them are true but we don't know the story or why.

Er...it is pretty much out there. The failure to pay tax, the suspension of the ceo, the early cash in on transfer payments. Keep that head in the sand.
So conjecture.
The early cash in on future transfer payments can be put down to complying with FFP.
The failure to pay the tax last week is unknown.
The suspension of the CEO is unknown.- 1

It isn't. But if it helps you defend the owner while we lose key players to keep the lights on then pretend it does.
So you have proof? If so share it with the rest of us.

I didnt mean to upset anyone lol.
But that was 3 years ago and 1 game.
As i said, rate him but not at £40mil imo.
Certainly more than the lad from Norwich.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing i suppose, over priced but had they done what was expected would have seemed a bargain.
Where even is McCormack anyway now? He must be on a fair wage to.
40k a week which goes to 60k if we go up.
2 years left on the deal, hes doing sod all. -

If Jack goes (as now looks certain) then Xia is dead to me. There's no way back... Ever. I don't care what he says or does beyond this point.
All he had to do was manage the club properly and the lad would've stayed another season.
Sell up now Tony because Villa Park will never forgive you for selling it's favourite son, simply to bail out your greed and stupidity.
That's not fair at all, he can't just put the money in FFP stops him doing that.

According to Neil Moxley on Twitter, we're losing between £5 - £6 million a month. A MONTH! How on earth is that possible given the players we have left on the books?
Its not possible that is probably the outgoings but we do have an income to as well.
The story is slanted. -
I call bull to the sun's 'story'.
Whats his reason for selling suddenly? As a side note if it was true a british consortium sounds like none of us have the money to put in on our own.
I miss the talk of Larry Ellison. -

Why? Technically he's failed to do what he was employed to achieve?
Because getting a new manager is seen as a big risk and he was so close to achieving the aim.

We missed out on going up. It should have been closed during the playoffs though.
Regardless, he's hardly going to be sacked by the owner.

When are we even due this HS2 compensation? I assume that's part of phase 2 of HS2 so will be years away yet.
I don't know either but it will surely be before the work starts?

I just don't even know why this thread exists....
The guy hasn't been sacked and we narrowly missed out on going up. -

Right I have had a go at an FFP spreadsheet!!!
Two tables - the first shows the wages saved on the players leaving after their loan spells or contracts expiring. The second shows players who I would hope would leave and who are already scheduled to leave. Figures are estimates and I may have completely missed the point around wages saved (I read that you can use the total amount saved in this years FFP figures).
Hi,
Interesting list here.
I might be stating the obvious but, we won't sell all of those players in all likely hood and free transfers/loan players will come in meaning we need that will go back onto the accounts.
As far as I can see there isn't a way to meet FFP unless you get rid of all the people you are mentioning and not bring anyone in.
Or
Sell Jack plus the players mentioned to bring in some frees/loan playersOr some sort of a mix with a new income stream such as selling the naming rights to the stadium/compensation for HS2 at bodymore?
