15th now but only 6 off 1st place after 10 games.
He has to go before the end of the international break its essential if we are to go up this year. -
He will be sacked in a week for the international break if they are going to do it

It became quite clear during the Managers after match interview that he wasn't able to get the team to play the way he wanted, and that they have no plan B. He was talking about how the opposition had 5 at the back and 4 in the midfield. Are you surprised? He should be setting out the team to counteract these tactics because most teams are going to come to Villa Park, park the bus, and hope to nick a goal.
Its getting worse each week.
They didn't just kick the ball they used their heads too it was astonishing!

I thought that was right time to do it but I think owners when they took over thought Bruce was much loved by the majority of fans, which is true I suppose not that I agree, and now the bulk are turning
well not long to wait its 2 weeks until the break so if it goes on like it has then I'm certain they won't stick with him.

In their present form Preston simply has to be a win but think we'll struggle in our away games, Bristol on their patch are a fast energetic team and while Millwall are having a poor run of form we always struggle at the Den in recent times.
He simply has to go now. If he stays majority of the season we will finish outside top 6 I think. We need fresh ideas from the top for this squad.
I agree I was just stating what I think the board are thinking.
I would have got rid of him right at the start of the last international break, believe with the team we have we should walk at least half the games in the league, finish in the top 6 with our eyes closed and have a good chance at one of the top two places. -
It's just been pointed out to me that the next international break is after the next three games at the start of October.
If he doesn't pick up 4 points as a minimum from that I am sure they will get rid, I would have already got rid of him. -
how hard is it to play 4-4-2?
How hard is it to play Tuanzebe every week at centre back?
How hard is it to play your new wingers on the wing?
How hard is it to realise that you need to play two up front with our strikers?
SACK HIM! I guarantee whoever follows him will do better -

I see this as our owners board using the french lad's agent to ridicule Bruce. I bet this kid thought aston villa was a pop group and he has no idea what style of play we use. The words have been planted by the agent who probably has connections to our new co owners.
I fear for Bruce. He must park the bus at blackburn.
The owners don't need to do that it was clear from the reaction from the last game and the run we are on they don't need the fans to turn on him.
they already have- 2

JT has turned down a move to Russia, offer him a deal to try and save your job...... -
I'm really **** off today.
After the last game I thought he needed to be sacked, he was still there on the Tuesday after so I then thought at least we will have signed a centre back for the next game...... fast forward just over a week and sod all has happened. -

Not exactly true is it? Diego Polenta (age 26 ex Bari CB) and Serdar Tasci (31, Ex German International ) are both on a free at moment and would be and massive improvement over Huth.,

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serdar_Tasci
I agree.
Huth was never a top defender, injured for the last year and a half and 34.
Now obviously terry is 37 BUT he is superior in every other way, we should have gone for him.
We really should be going for someone else.- 3

At a guess, that he's been a cancer to our club since joining.
It's not meant to be taken literally and is a turn of phrase.
At a guess.
It wasn't exactly hard to decipher

He has definitely lost the fans, those defending him on Facebook are in the minority. Even Talksport, who usually call anyone who wants Bruce out an idiot, are commentating that they're deeply concerned about the Villa.
Bruce not being sacked, is starting to damage the club from top to bottom. The backers will say we have only lost one game, the truth is though we haven't won in 5 against some pretty average opposition.
I truly hope, that powers that be are only giving him a tiny bit more rope to hang himself.
I don't think he'll make the next international break, and hopefully that gives us time to save our season.
Some of the opposition is in the relegation zone too....

The endorsements would be enough for me

Don't want to get our hopes up but...
If this happens then someone needs to contact cancer research UK and let them know the cure to cancer is to send it to Austrailia

This guy has a point. Not a peep out of any of the players. No apology or anything. Odd. Maybe something is afoot!
It is a decent point they do usually say something.
I'm disappointed we haven't already had an announcement that he has been sacked- 1

Looks like a poor keeper but i don't think we have better with Steer out on loan
-
Just watched the goals on Sky
First was poor defendingSecond and third was crap goal keeping
forth was just good play I thought
Our goal was nicely worked -

I totally think the same mate - let’s hope it costs him his job and fast
If he isnt sacked by Tuesday morning he isn't going until after the next game for sure

Our form has gone from pretty good to absolutely abysmal in less than a month, even after getting in the new recruits (although not all have played yet). Enough is enough and the international break is the perfect time to get rid of him and bring in someone new.
I don't think our new owners will take kindly to this sort of result so soon after an another embarrassing defeat in midweek.
And a defence which the fans kept moaning about and hes done **** all to sort it out

completely agree, even if he won the next two games before the break the writing is already on the wall
