We definitely won't be conducting our business based on who has the better YouTube video.
Oh, But I thought that’s how all European scouts evaluate potential players?
I always thought they have so much fun listening to euro trance while they work. #dreamjob

Not that this counts for much but i was on a Wembley stadium tour on Saturday and the was 2 guys from Egypt on the tour. I asked them about this guy and they both said he is nearly as good as Salah. I guess that’s to be expected really but they did rate him highly
Interesting.... like I said I have nothing to base my opinion on but a hunch. Looks like his club have priced him out of the deal anyway.
Side note: Wembley tour worth doing? I fancied it over the summer.

Yep...El Ghazi from his videos looked twice the player...in a better league...and a lot cheaper.

Tifo have done another episode on Villa, along with the other promoted sides. Loving their sensible transfers episodes. I'm saving it to listen to in work this evening.
Just listened! Pretty good and in-depth conversation about our recruitment and squad, and for a change...well researched. Can’t disagree with any of their points really.

Dunno why but I’m not fussed about this one.

So glad we have a guy like this at our club.... its a cliche but he seems a “proper football bloke” and has earned his chance at the big time.
I cant believe at one point I thought having Henry as manager was a good idea....

I’ve seen some comments on Facebook that we have “made enquires” about Ryan Sessignon. Seems complete tosh....I’d be very suprised If there is an ounce of truth in it.

Another mind-numbing interview. What about the poets, Connor? The post-Brexit trade deals?
I was gonna mention.... it really sucks. A part of me dies with every interview.

Pleased for him.... he was really important to us the back end of last season and I think he will only get better under Smith and his system. He will be just as important this year.

A bit cautious about this one. I doubt he wants to be here and we are just playing the role of one of City’s many feeder clubs. As others have said, this looks like a glorified loan but if City want him back it means he’s done well. Hardly building for the future though is it...
I hear you... but at this point in our transformation, consolidation is building for the future. I’ve mentioned before that if he is that good for us Man City would come back for him clause or not. (I get that we may not get as much for him, but would still profit).
I think we getting a little too hung up on the potential clause. Any player that performs well for will have teams sniffing regardless, Even signing a contact extension means nothing nowadays other than guaranteeing a larger fee when the big boys come.
I think even tho our transfer policy is clear and management will do all to stick to it, I think there are going to have to be exceptions here and there for the good of the squad.

The buy back is not really an issue for me, we wouldn’t get a player of this (apparent) calibre into the club otherwise, and if he is a success and we stay up because his performances helped that, we’ll profit on another year of premier league money and have a great indication of what kind of player we need going forward to fill that position. And getting paid a nominal at the same time for it.
Yep.... and let’s face it if city wanted him in the next season or two they would get him anyway.
Makes more sense than £30m (speculation) for Phillips.

When he fancies it he can be unplayable!! If we were going to sign him and seen his YouTube highlights we would think we would be jizzing in our pants. Alot of people including myself if I really admit it had pretty much wrote him off next season. Prem stage could be just what he needs.

I have a touch of the Micheal Bouldings about this one.

I actually don’t mind the design... I think that’s sort of the problem though, is very bland. Almost designed so as nobody really minds it, and therefore no one really likes it either.
Exactly how I feel about it.

What would you like asked?
What's your favourite kind of kebab?
Do you like love island?
I’d be more interested in both of them questions.

Maybe it's not the interviewers fault, but someone in the club needs to work on better questions for new recruits, the ones they use time and again are really boring and leading questions.
Mate..... my feelings exactly! Sometimes I don’t know why I bother watching, and when I do I can’t wait for them to end.
Q “How excited are you for this? and how important is that?”
A ”I’m very excited for this and that is very important”
Q “How much are you looking forward to this and how much does that mean to you”
A “Oh yes I am looking forward to this and that means a lot to me and my family”
Bore off!... it’s like watching love island.
Just ask them something different and lighten it up a bit.

Okore would have been a perfect Dean Smith player.
Yep, I remember watching his showreel and thinking wow we have a proper talent.
This kid looks similar! Looking forward to seeing what he can do.

He looks awesome in that video to be fair...Although he was pretty gash for us, it makes me wonder what Okore would have been like with this squad and coaching staff.

Are they though? Because it's the same template Kappa are using for several other teams.
Look how many times the same collar and shoulder setup pops up in recent kappa Instagram posts. https://www.instagram.com/kappa_sport/?hl=en
Are Fanatics really making a Kappa template kit? What a weird situation we find ourselves in if so.
It’s true, it seems there is a few kappa standard features we have opted in on, and couldn’t afford the extras package.
It’s different to other kappa kits in subtle ways, but those subtle differences feature on other kits. A slight pattern or stripes on the main body of our shirt would have made it so much more interesting. Even down the sides..... I was excited about this shirt, it’s just so meh. I really hope they had more balls with the away shirt.
The Bruges shirt is pretty much the same.
Even something like the subtle blocking on the body would have made our shirt that little more special. Its actually annoyed me a little now.

I’m hoping they make up for it with some jazzy ness on the away shirts.
