Kind of makes me wonder who Unai is actually after and the level of those players… if he’s not really interested in bringing in players like this (at what seems like good value too) from former clubs… maybe his sights and ambitions are higher… exciting if so…

seems more like barnes or johnson

I agree. There has to be better out there for a similar/much less cost.

I find the links to Barnes and Johnson confusing tbh. I think it's clear at this juncture that we are interested in both, I just really thought this window would be different.

maybe we arent prepared to pay for top quality

The talk was that Hampton is going to be loaned out, either to a club Spain where she grew up, or another WSL team, if she stays in WSL probably going to end up somehwere like West Ham, Liverpool, or Leicester

I'm not really too worried about her leaving, I'm sure she had her reasons, whilst she was here did very well, always gave her all, and from what I can tell was a good teammate to the other players, also seemed she had a very good rapport with the fans.

As I've said players moving on in women's game is much more common, it's not just us it happens to, probably wasn't West Ham's choice to release Lucy Parker or Grace Fisk, Man United have lost two of their best players in Alessio Russo and Ona Batlle, Chelsea lost Magdalena Eriksson and Pernille Harder, just seems to be the way it is, even for the big clubs, I think probably because of shorter contracts and smaller wages in women's football.

But main reason not concerned about losing Hampton is because we've got a very good replacement, who might be just as good if not better, we've also got a very good back-up goalkeeper in Anna Leat who we're lucky to have as a No.2 as is probably good enough to be a No.1 in her own right.

with russo leaving united probly means hanson stops there

This is going to be the defining moment of the series, and possibly Carey's career, it's a complete lack of any kind of class.

The whole "in the eyes of the law" or general "not found guilty" shouts with Greenwood do my nut in considering there is literal evidence of what he did. No mental gymnastics would justify signing him.

he wasnt cleared charges were dropped difference

Selling Dendoncker, Sanson and Nakamba could get us close to £15m-£20m.

Replacing those 3 with Adams and Tielemans for a net spend of £0-£5m would be very good.

Then we can focus on spending the rest of our £200m budget on three £65m players. 😎

are you sure 200 milion where was that said

If this is the case why not just keep Nakamba around and spend the money elsewhere.

    He's not much better.

pointless signing never set the world alight with leeds  but cheep and easy signing thats villa
