  1. Tough game tomorrow, must admit I don't fancy our chances if Jack/Adomah are out. Having said that, PNE played most the second half on Saturday with 10 men, so in theory we should be fresher. Echo what others have said - a big NO to Onomah. He is total dogshit and a waste of a shirt

  2. Signed Diogo Jota on a permanent deal from Athletico Madrid for £10 million. FFP?? Suppose it won't matter when they go up.

His mates? Can you elaborate on this ?

Signing players he's had at nearly all his clubs or he knows - Elmo, JT, Snodgrass, Samba, etc. I'm not saying this is a bad thing short term - it may be enough to get us promoted. But it's hardly a long term strategy signing these kinds of players.

The next big challenge for them will be how they rebuild in the summer before the Prem starts. Will their current loans sign on perms? If not, and they decide to move to a different Mendes team or go back to their parent clubs, will they be taking chances on other Mendes players? Will some of their better permanent players move to better Mendes teams, with Mendes pocketing his usual cut..

It’s anyone’s guess at this stage. There may not be much uncertainty for them, but I still think the wheels could fall off this Mendes thing at some point.

Apparently all their current loans are with a view to permanant deals (they're supposed to be tying up deals for a few this month I believe).

Tbh I thought the same as you about Mendes having read up his dodgy dealings at Valencia, but talking to my Wolves mate and doing a little digging, their owners and Mendes are basically in business together. I doubt he'd want to piss off the very people he's in business with by rinsing them for a quick buck. Think the use of an agent for this particular club is unique in that it's not purely Mendes wanting a quick buck, both work together. Ngl I'm a tad envious, they have the world's most powerful agent on their doorstep, purchasing bright talent from abroad for them with resale value. Meanwhile, we're stuck with potato head who signs his mates and old fogies with no long term strategy whatsoever.

  5. Saw some outlandish rumour on twitter earlier that Wolves had bid £35 million for Andre Silva of Milan, which was rejected. Doing the rounds online, astonishing.

  6. Went to the game with my Wolves mate last night. Chants of 'we're **** shit in the winter' as a dig at Bruce's comments had me in stitches :D:D

You have to admire this wolves side. That was a very impressive win. Honestly i think they are better than some premier league sides.

They are not unbeatable and have some weaknesses but they are good side. Been very fortunate with injuries though mind you.

They have had some injuries, they had Boly out for 2 months and Helder Costa out until October. Nowhere near the injuries we've got but they've still had them.

  8. If Wolves beat the unwashed lot tonight then we can rule out once and for all catching them. 2nd place is still up for grabs although I must admit I'm surprised Cardiff haven't dropped off yet. Bristol look a good side as well. Hopefully our squad depth (when injuries return) will make the difference 2nd half of the season.
