Yes we lost. They are a very good team. Willian and Kante were class.
Disappointed we gave the ball away so cheaply so often after we had worked so hard to win it initially.

Just been to the movies here in NJ with my daughter to see Ford vs Ferrari. We both almost jumped out of our seat when we saw Ken Miles son watching the Le Mans race wearing a Villa top with the Classic old badge. I know I had one of those when I was younger. Great to see.
Keep an eye out for it.

NBC in USA are a F****** disgrace. Against b'mouth they showed ads from halftime until the game was an hour old. - and then showed all the 2nd half on what was in essence a 15 minute delay.
Tonight - they did the same damn thing - except they started showing the 2nd half at approx 65 minutes - didnt bother at all with the first 20 mins of the 2nd half
I watched NBC Sports and had no issues. Coverage was great with no delay or interruptions. I watched it on Dish, did you watch online?

Doesn't Smith wear a suit to every home game? Tracksuit away? At least I am sure he did at the start.
I'm with you in that I don't care, it's up to him basically.
Correct. Suit at home and tracksuit away.

Morning @USA_Villa hope you made it and your journey is on schedule. How was the flight? Enjoy the game!
Thanks. Yes, made it to the game. Had a 30-minute walk from Seven Sisters tube station, but other than that a great day despite the result. Great stadium, team played very well under pressure. Sitting in Heathrow now waiting for the flight back.

Look at jumping on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow to Finsbury Park, then Victoria to Seven Sisters and then one last hop on the overground (or a 30 minute walk) to White Hart Lane. Save yourself the massive Uber fee to Richmond and about 45 minutes.
Although it is about 45 minutes literally underground, which is grim I admit.
Thanks for the recommendation. Depart in about an hour and a half.

My trip to the ground will be as follows (And I am not complaining one bit):
Friday

- 7 Hour overnight flight from JFK to LHR - Arrive early Sat AM
Saturday
- Uber to Heathrow Hotel - Change and Shower
- Uber to Richmond Station
- 1.25 hour Overground Journey to Whitehart Lane
- Watch Game
- Reverse journey - Back in JFK on Sunday
Can't Wait.

Nice goal from Conner. However, he just doesn't seem to want the ball in that holding midfield spot. Looks uncomfortable receiving the ball in that position. Performs better higher up the field. Time to see Marvellous.

I don't believe he has a future in this team. He will be sold or loaned out in the next few weeks.

Heading out of Philly on Monday evening. Heard there's an open training session on Tuesday, so looking forward to that. Just got to find out the details. Game on Wednesday evening, heading back early Thursday morning.
Looking forward to seeing the new players, the new kit, and knowing that the premier league start is just round the corner.
Might have to make a trip to Spurs, I need to see that stadium and it's the first game of the season.

I suspect we will see at least 3 or 4 leave in the next few weeks. None of which are likely to get a game if they're still here:
- Bjarnson
- Kilinic (If we get another keeper)
- Hogan
- Bree
Also, don't be surprised if Jacob Ramsey gets a chance to shine in pre-season. Exciting player.

is Yohan Barbet any good?
No, bang average. I can almost guarantee that Dean won't be bringing him to Villa park.

Travel
in POF: Derby
Travel for me starts tomorrow at 3pm EST, whereby myself and two daughters head to Philadelphia airport for our overnight flight to Heathrow. This is our third flight back in the last two months for games, this is costing me a fortune. What the hell. Two nights in London, their first time seeing Villa at Wembley, a comfortable victory, promotion to the premier league. This is likely to be one of those magical unforgettable experiences. And, I get to experience it with my daughters, the next generation of Villa fans.
It doesn't get any better. UTV

Understandably fans are a little more nervous heading in to this game due to our mediocre performances in the semi-final. One thing I think we forget is that we played a team of premiership players that came to nullify our game, and were very good at it. On Monday we play a team of Championship players that have struggled to contain our more experienced and talented team. I am confident in this team and manager.
Can't wait. Going to be fantastic.

It all starts today for me. Heading to Philadelphia with my daughter this afternoon for an overnight flight to Manchester. See the family tomorrow and then Villa Park for a massive game on Saturday, returning back to the US on Wednesday after the return leg. Hopefully we will be planning to do it all again for the trip to Wembley.
Got a feeling this is going to be a special few days. Can't wait.

Flew out for the Bolton game on Friday, returning to Philadelphia last night. Had the pleasure of watching our 10th straight victory on AVTV this morning. What a weekend.
May I just remind everyone - WE ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS - Unbelievable - Exciting - Hopeful
We are now a club that believes in our team, our owners, our coaching staff, our players. We are in a wonderful place today and looking forward.

I remember what McGinn was like after he served his suspension. Give him the next few weeks off and watch that man in the Playoffs.

Players want the ball all over the park. No matter where they are. I love it.

Isn't it refreshing to see our coaches coaching, delivering instructions and ensuring our players know what they're responsibilities are.

Think Andre Green had one of his better halves for us since breaking through.
I agree, looks really good going forward. Just needs to be a little more careful with his passing.
