  1. If we were to catch a team in the playoffs I think it would be more likely Reading. There next games are Newcastle (H), Preston (A), Sheff Wed (A), Leeds (H), Blackburn (H), Norwich (A), Villa (A). Could be and hopefully will be a huge collapse by Reading.

  2. I was watching this video earlier. It really depressed me seeing how far we've fallen in the last 8-10 years. I would love MON to be back managing us, I don't care how he left, and seeing how much Lerner ended up running us in to the ground I can see why he left (even if he was part of the problem with wages). One problem he never had was getting the best out of the squad.

Just spent £50m assembling the worst squad we've ever had and sending us on an unrecoverable spiral into relegation.

    Not too bad at all.

Saved us from getting relegated the previous season, then lost a core spine of Benteke, Delph, and Vlaar which was out of his hands which you've conveniently forgot. Were all those signings of the £50m his? I'd assume not seeing as he didn't want to play them all and hardly even had any contact with Veretout and Adama (Veretout's words).

  4. I don't think Sherwood did too bad a job to be honest. In the short term he might have pushed us towards the play offs, but I think Sherwood is a short term manager. All the bullshit shines through eventually.

I'd be a little disappointed in Jack if he wanted to go to Boro actually.

He must see all the money and work the Dr is putting in to change this football club, Jack could be a huge part of that with the club he's been at his whole life.

If it was Spurs interested then yeah I'd understand, but he still needs to develop, so why not do that here?

If he's told he's not in the clubs plans and they want rid then you couldn't really blame him.

One assist and one tackle in 21 games. After starting well, one goal in last 17 games. Overall he scores less than once every 20 games - how is he 'doing well'? He's very average in the Championship, so I'm not sure how that indicates that he will be 'brilliant' in the Premiership.

He couldn't command a regular starting spot in a struggling mid-table team, so not sure how that would improve as three new first choice midfielders turn up.

If Middleborough make a reasonable offer I'd take it

So an attacking player should be measured on tackles? I wonder how many Kodjia has made. I believe Grealish has made 4 throw ins too, absolute garbage. When Grealish is on the pitch the link up play is much better and we actually look like creating chances. He isn't a goal scorer, yes he could work on his assists but other than Kodjia up front we haven't looked like scoring from anywhere else. Smaller, and more agile players excel in the the Premier League compared to the lower divisions, hence why I think he'd be much more suited to the Premier League. He will have much more freedom with our new look midfield.

  7. I think Grealish has actually been one of our better players this season, and whenever he is dropped it is fairly obvious we need him on the pitch. He's doing well in the championship which is a very physical, tough league. I think after his experience in this league. he will be brilliant in the prem and I'll be gutted if he leaves. He's one of our own.

  8. I hope he apologises and sorts himself out at training. I think he could be brilliant with our new midfield behind him. I often thought he was trying to do too much in midfield because they were useless, which in turn made him lose the freedom to attack. He should have that freedom to attack now if he was to play.

Bamford for 5mill and they are looking 12 mill for a 29 year old who hasn't got a game all season especially when they cant even score.

If we buy Rhodes for more than 6mill then we have lost the plot.

Rhodes is 26, but I take your point. I would say £8m is a fair price for Rhodes.

  10. He definitely did not have any good seasons, they were just average. I still don't know what his strengths are now. I'd agree that he didn't stand out to be as poor as he does now, but he had better midfielders around him back then.
