Bye bye Carla Ward. 

Hopefully, when he's fit again, the real Moreno will be back, because the one we had previously appears to have been kidnapped. 

I'd like to see what his valuation is now.  Dwarfs whatever it is we agreed to pay Middlesbrough.  Fantastic player and really suits our play.  Can cover several positions.  Turning into a crowd favourite.  Only 21!! 

Duran will upset the Man City defence with his rugged style of play.  Not sure he can do it for 90 minutes though. 

I wonder whether we will do any business this summer.  With Sousa and Nedjekovic (sp) already signed, Buendia and Mings back in the fold.  Lenglet, Hause, Olsen and Dendonker to go.  I wonder if we will bring in another dynamic midfielder to replace/support Kamara but I can't see us doing much else.  Replacement for Lenglet is already here.    

We became a one man team with Grealish and have moved forward as a team since he left.  That said, with Unai in charge, Grealish would be a better player.  

He has done nowhere near enough yet to earn a whacking four year contract at Villa.  There is a player in there somewhere, but we have to look very deep to find him.  Has scored three nice goals but has to show a bit more consistency before we pay the kind of money they will want for him. 

I feel more secure with Digne in the side than Moreno. 

I agree Dave, we need to show some patience.  He's very young and playing at the top of the Premier League.  Big step up, even if he played for Manchester City previously. Unai will coach the crap out of him and he will be an excellent squad player in good time. 

Shame as he never let us down when he played.  He's not good enough for where we are now, but certainly helped in the early days of getting back up. I wish him nothing but good luck.  He'd do a good job at somewhere like Middlesbrough. 

I see that oaf Keith Wyness is trying to sell our best players.  Not that he's bitter or anything. 

A Torres/Konsa partnership has worked well so far.  They haven't had as much time together recently but when they were together earlier in the season, I could see a really good partnership forming.   

We have scored some of the most brilliant goals I;ve seen from any Villa side this season.  Such things of beauty.  They might look like tap ins at times, but the passing and movement has been a delight to watch.  Hopefully, more to come.  Certainly worth getting the CD of the goals this season lol. 

He gets more latitude that Zaniolo because he's permanent, in my opinion.  Both are struggling to make their mark but Diaby will come good as he's got real pedigree. 

We use the term legend too much, but in this case, we have it spot on.  Great player, great servant to this magnificent football club.    Rest in peace Chris. 

What's the rush?  He has three years left after this season.  

It's coming JJ. He will be back up to speed against Fulham.  

On the bench tomorrow?  Unai likes two sub keepers. 

I'd guess that Zaniolo is feeling as frustrated with himself as we are with him.  It's just not worked out so far.  I'm hoping that it does, but he needs game time and we can't afford to put him in because he's not consistent enough.  

It might take him a couple of months to get back up to match speed, which rules this season out, but what a boost he'd be if we can get him back in time.  Far more industrious than Tielemans and we have really missed a sharp number 10.

Unless he's going to Turkey, the rest of the transfer window is closed, unless Villa are paying up his contract.

Villa don't need him, but there are clubs that he would do a decent job for.  All immaterial as he looks like he's staying so he can pick up his large and unearned salary. 

Or someone like Celtic or Rangers. 

I am a bit surprised that a Luton, Burnley or Sheffield United haven't taken a gamble on Chambers.  He would do a decent job for one of them.
