Good, positive interview. I hope he can work his corporate magic to increase revenue as it's only going to benefit us with or without Lerner.
That said, it's a shame he didn't go into any detail about the contract discussions, if only just to confirm they had actually happened......

Sounds good, except for one thing- why the heck would he come to the Villa?
Don't see any way to spin a negative on it, he is obviously either coming to Villa because he has been promised certain things, or because he feels he can make Villa a success!
Plus it's a promotion for him.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if randy Lerner takes the sale of villa off the market in the forthcoming weeks.
I have a feeling this might happen...

With -17 goal differenceI wish our football was as entertaining as this thread.
We would have won the league and scored 200 goals
This is Villa. We'd have scored 200 goals and finished 12th...

It's not all about the billions though, as long as they (whoever they are) can come in, run our beloved club properly, with the right football people appointed, I'll be happy with that for now, then at least we can have a solid footing to get the club back where it belongs.

I was trying to think of an eloquent word to sum up the season, here it is, sh*t!

It really is time for him to go, yes we all know about the circumstances he's works under but that doesn't excuse the same old tactic EVERY single game and just hoping we get lucky. Tony Pulis for me, back to basics time.
I'd gladly lose any potential January money to pay him off.
