Hope we stop playing this hoofball. I know it's derby day and things are a bit frenetic, but come on Brucie. Jedinak is looking like a man-mountain out there. Good example of prematurely judging players playing under a poor manager which I'm also guilty of.
It's a problem when you have Westwood who just panics and gets rid ASAP.

Westwood's failed ball through to Gardner...Jeez. Can't even get it right when he's given loads of time. Could have easily picked out one of the two with a pass on the floor. He's just terrible.

Caused them problems but as we found his decision making in final third is absolutely shite
This is an overrated opinion.

Infuriating we didn't/couldn't give this guy more game time. Such an entertaining talent.
-
Yeah that ball through was different gravy. Shame Ayew couldn't finish it.
-
JK what a man! Loved that passionate arms out celebration as well.

Who's that on his Instagram story today? The one with the caption 'Gear is shocking'...can't make him out.

Disagree with Ayew, Veretout, Gueye and Lowton.

He cannot press to save his life. His idea of pressing is to run up to the player and not get beat as if you were playing five a side. If someone gets in his ear and has a go at him he runs up to the player too fast an fouls him.
I wish Gary would teach him how to tackle.
This bit really confused me.

I'm not gonna say it was a sitter as it was on his weaker foot. Similar to the Kodjia effort on Sat actually (when he should have teed up McCormack).
Bacuna for me though is a confidence player. And people who've said in here he has no technical ability, he actually does. Lack of confidence and being played in about 5 different positions doesn't help him.
-
How often does Westwood make a telling pass? Very rarely. Gardner yesterday set Adomah free with a clever pass for the first, and then set Ayew up to win the penalty. I'll take that.

Tish was a joke on Sat, I'd have given Gardner a chance over him tonight as well.
-
Gardner has more to offer than what he's shown so far. Think he'll surprise a few tonight.

Is it 4-3-3 with Bacuna in CM? Adomah and Kodjia on wings or...?

I bet he picks up a booking on Saturday and misses game vs blose as well as grealish
Don't be so negative.

He got booked didn't he? Therefore they won't be able to change it?

Well the Bristol Fan on here said he was better than Bolaise when they played together at Bristol City...
That said I gave him the big build up when he signed and he's been really disappointing. 3 minutes to go tonight, we have a free kick in a good position....and he's tying his shoelaces. All about priorities...
Yeah. His priority was getting the free-kick in and not risking tripping over while taking it.

Yes. These two are definitely superior to what we have. Tsibola I like, and I also think Lyden was good from the limited times I saw him.
Westwood and Gardner - not good enough.
Jedinak - we were had.
Tshibola yesterday though...was so frustrating. He looks so laboured and the game just completely bypassed him. Is Lyden a CM btw? What kind of CM is he? Guessing a standard, tenacious type of CM?
-
A lot better yesterday than what he showed in his previous couple of games. Lacks a bit of aggression at times though.
-
Praying we can/do recall Sanchez and Veretout in January. The latter has 5x the ability of our other mids.
