Just seething at what we've become

Gestede on. LOL
-
We are an utter embarrassment. What is the point in Gabby? He has no pace now and literally brings NOTHING.

Was apparently very good for Brighton last season though?
-
I'm one of the few fans of Bennett. Technically accomplished and very good on the ball. Playing with confidence I think he'd be a good player.
-
I'd almost be tempted to go with Hutton RB and Crespo LB (Clark and Richards at CB), just to try and get some solidity.
Praying Gestede is dropped and Ayew takes his place up top.
Get Grealish and Gil behind Ayew and they'll love him running the channels for their through balls.
-
Well considering Gestede and Lescott were our worst signings, thank God we didn't get the rest. Lennon is woeful.
-
Surely meant Richards and not Richardson!
-
Rodgers not in the frame at all?
-
How good a job did Garde do at Lyon then?
-
Houllier had won silverware, so had McCleish. Lambert came in off the back of two promotions and a mid table finish with a team most thought would be relegated. Sherwood had......well......
A 59% win ratio, which was second to none.

Harsh to give Guzan a 4, Gestede should be given a 4 at best.
-
Agree with most of what's being said in here. Useless unless we're crossing, yet we don't play a system in order to get regular crosses going in.
He was completely useless and pointless on Saturday, why he stayed on the pitch is beyond me. I'd definitely play Ayew up top.
-
GET THE **** IN!!!
-
Really poor first half, we're just clueless going forward. Grealish has been terrible.
-
I'd go
Hutton Richards Crespo Amavi
Sanchez
Veretout Gana
Traore Ayew Grealish
I know Guzan's been bad but think we need a keeper ;)

West Ham kit this season so bland IMO.
-
Would be great if we got adidas, they definitely make the best kits currently IMO.

That channel is awesome...keep it up!

Where does livescore.com get its (must be predicted) lineups from? It has lineups for tomorrow's games already and ours isn't a million miles off what I'd like to see! With the exception of Gestede...
Guzan; Hutton, Richards, Clark, Amavi; Gana, Sanchez; Gil, Grealish, Ayew; Gestede

He is very average. Ten years ago he would have been thought of alongside Sidwell in the 'what does he do' stakes.
Shows how far we have fallen when people are desperate to find something in an attacking player who neither scores goals or creates them...and his corners are just as shit as Westwood's, maybe even worse.
Really hope this is just a troll...

No.5 on F365's list of top 10 misused players: http://www.football365.com/news/football365s-top-10-most-misused-players
5. Carles Gil
If anything sums up Tim Sherwood’s style of management it was his decision to reinstate Carles Gil to Aston Villa’s starting XI against Chelsea at the weekend after demoting the Spaniard to the bench against West Brom and Stoke. A trademark big call ahead of a pressure game from a guy who puts the ‘man’ in ‘manager’, with the predictable conclusion of a demoralising defeat.Of course, Gil provided a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel for Villa at Stamford Bridge, providing the most key passes of any visiting player (two), and making the second most passes at the second best rate of accuracy of all of his team-mates. Considering it was only Gil’s second start since February, the signs are positive.
We’ve been here before, however. Gil’s only previous start this season came at Leicester, with his goal seemingly sending Villa on their way to a 2-0 victory before he was substituted on 66 minutes. By full-time and in Gil’s absence, Villa lost 3-2.
But Gil’s first false start came after signing last January. The former Valencia man made four consecutive Premier League starts the following month, before being inexplicably dropped for the remainder of the season. Sherwood’s explanation? That he needed to use players he “trusted” during their relegation battle. With Villa currently in 19th this season, Sherwood would be best advised to place more faith in the 22-year-old.

He's definitely a more intelligent player than Delph.
Based on what?
You can just tell by watching him play. The way he moves the ball, the positions he gets himself into, the passes he plays.

If Garde doesn't start Gil I think I'll go insane :D
