I wish Gil had a bit more strength. A couple of times now he's been in good positions but just gets eased off the ball

I like the extra energy that he gives to the midfield but ultimately his end product is poor. In saying that he does look like the midfielder with the most chance of scoring. He's getting into good positions in the box but too often his composure goes and he ends up blasting it. If one of those goes in, it potentially gives him confidence and he starts to get more because he used to be more composed in front of goal

That was a typical gabby goal of old for me. Good, well timed run behind the defence and finish before he really had time to think about it.

About 2 minutes beforehand he had a great chance to run at the defence but just ended up with a very weak shot. Which is more like what we are used to see over 3 years

Started brightly and looked decent. Then Awey had a moment of madness and got sent off. We defended reasonably well and for most of it but it was always a matter of time until they scored.

I didn't think that was even a free, Westwood didn't touch him.

Overall we haven't played too badly but have had no cutting edge as usual. And we were very unlucky that the peno was given

Westwood had a good game today. Covered back well to help Cissokho, in general spread the play well when needed and played some nice through balls and crosses. Just a pity we have no one to get on the end of them

If we had a good striker we'd have won that

We need a left footed midfielder. Westwood and Gueye keep having to cut back in so we don't get many early crosses from that side.
