  1. I am sorry to say this, but I don't like all this buying...Feels like something Tottenham and West Ham would do. Yes, the team is better, but being a supporter is being able to identify with players. Right now, all is left from a potential starting line up is Guzan, Gabby and Clark. If they are replaced with new players...well it does not feel like my team anymore.

Strange post for me. It's an exciting time. Won't take long for you to identify with the players anyway.

  2. Right, I've a hangover of epic proportions, I've been for a number 2, 3 times today without eating a single thing. I have half a pizza that I'm too scared to go near for fear of hurling, I've got the sweats and am trying to sleep it off but failing to drop off because my heads pounding that much. The only bit of comfort I have is that this transfer might go through today. Can Villa please get this wrapped up in the next hour please, I believe it'll kick start my recovery and make everything right again. I'll even crack open a tinnie when it's confirmed I'm that confident it'll heal me. Pray for me people, yes it'll be nice to have a promising, shit-hot youngster coming in but wouldn't it make you feel even happier knowing you helped raise me up from the depths of hell and the borderline of death. Eurgh!

Hope you feel better soon sweet prince x

  3. Those who think it should be Bacuna are forgetting that he probably won't even start.

If we sign Ayew it has to be otherwise Gill maybe. Penalties are all about confidence, nothing to do with technique. Any footballer can score a penalty.

It very much is to do with technique. It helps if you're confident but confidence isn't going to matter if its a poor strike.

  4.

Moeen Ali has performed very well for England during the ramadan, last season against India and against the Aussies in the first test. I'm not sure it has that much of a negative effect on your performance.

I'm sure sportsmen are allowed to eat and drink during the day during Ramadan.

If they're travelling yeah. I think they are allowed to make up the fast later also.

  5. In some ways i'm a bit disappointed at the Delph news, despite what we think of him it would have been good to see a player grow at Villa and then go on to be a permanent fixture in a team challenging for top honours, would have been good to see if he could kick on this season.

Might sound a bit dramatic but if he has done his hamstring and misses around a month this could probably wreck his whole season, if Man City get a settled team he will be waiting for injuries or loss of form to get a look in and end up doing a milner/sinclair et al.

Na, it's great news hope he rots.
