Im gonna throw this out there after some manly debates with my mate this evening....

Adebayor is better than Benteke...

 

Really? Then please explain why Spurs are desperate to get rid of Adebayor and Benteke is being sold for £32m?

 

 

on other hand Adebayor has played for Arsenal, Real Madrid and City while some 3rd rate club are only club interested in Benteke

 

So by that logic you would have to argue that Adebayor was better than Benteke is, which would have to agree with.

As things stand now, Benteke is the better player.

Surely that explains why Spurs are desperate to get rid of Adebayor and we're about to sell Benteke for £32m; not to  mention Spurs were openly interested in signing him to replace Adebayor.

Just like to say that not all Liverpool fans are against the Benteke signing.

 

I think he's **** brilliant, pace, power, skill, scores a variety of awesome goals and really hope it goes through without a hitch. With Firmino and Coutinho playing behind him it really does bode well for us and Benteke.

 

It's embarrassing that we've **** around on the price whilst complaining about the City pursuit of Stirling, guess all owners are just **** rocket polishers really.

 

Anyhow, hope you lot spend the well deserved £32m well.

My favorite Delph moment will always be that back-heel goal against Chelsea from a few seasons ago. I was piss drunk at a St. Patrick's day party in a house full of Chelsea fans.

It was one of the most glorious moments in all of my time supporting Villa.

Selling our two best players can't be great for attracting players. My excitement for the links in this speculation thread is already turning into nerves.

It's attractive in the sense that they have a better chance of playing and following a similar career path.

Hopefully this means the Darder rumors are true.

Why would Gil staying in the squad mean no Praet? Shouldn't we have competition for places? What if Gil or Grealish get injured? They're all very young as well. I think it would be good to have 2-3 CAM options.

We do intend to sell Tekkers.

 

Have you read any of Sherwood's comments recently? He certainly intends to keep him. If anything, it's Tekkers that intends to be sold.
