In regards to the sale of the club, if a price is agreed of say 150 mil, as due diligence can take up to 3 months I believe, Could the buyer not have Lerner spend 30 mil (or how ever much) on the squad, with that extra money just been added on to the amount Lerner would be getting? Or does it not work as simple as that...?

Rodriguez certainly is wasted at Monaco.

Not sure how long he has been at Monaco for, but I think bigger clubs would be sniffing around him shortly.. Would love to see him in the premiership.

I thought part of the reason Swansea struggled was because michu wasn't in the side. Teams are meant to be sniffing around bony aswell, but I guess they must be confident of keeping him...

Darren Bent could be off. Not sure what to make of it, i kind of liked the idea of him staying with benteke injured and Joe Cole being able to play behind him. Still has some use for us i think.

Can't really blame him for wanting to leave. Not treated the best by lambert. Especially with Benteke injured I thought we would've wanted to have kept a proven premiership goal scorer in the squad

All I know is that at some point Roy Keane will probably be our manager and that makes me sad inside.

It's kind of inevitable, at some point the pressure will mount on Lambert, and the team will be performing poorly. Lambert will be relieved of his duties as he'll have around 6 months left on his contract. Then Keane will step up.

I hope this doesn't become the case.

Fullbacks in the world. Outrageous figure, but in the long run if he goes on to be the best in the world in his position it will be money well spent.

Weren't we 'linked' with Depay (dutch wonder kid at PSV - scored two goals this world cup) last summer or january??
