Hello Gen
Regarding the recent comments on ticket pricing,
I completely understand the clubs position on ticket prices, without this revenue we will never be able to compete at the level where we all want to be
I know this is probably a little bit of an over simplified view of things, but, would it not be better to sell 40k tickets at £15 instead of 20k at £30?
Its the same revenue either way, surely?

Guzan
Friedel's getting his share of matches in the league, and with no European competition at the minute, Mini B needs as many starts as possible

You cant observe James Milner without changing James Milner

In 50 years time there will be a bronze statue of James Milner erected outside Villa Park with the imortal words scribed underneath "Warm grit??? ...luxury, ...bloody luxury!"

Hello Gen,
May I remind you fo this;
Just a quick gripe about the new look on the OSIn short, its bloody awful.
Its a complete assault on the eyeballs, i think it might be the red, i dunno but it seems very... ahem LOUD
I must say this is now much improved, far from perfect, but i no longer wince when i go there. Dont know if this was down to you or not, but thanks to whoever made this happen. Im confident that our site will be one of the best when everythings finnished.
Keep up all the good work you and the board are doing at the club
Merry Christmas & UTV

I know its sort of a work in progress, and I know everyone will have different tastes, but it just seems a little too harsh on the eyes, so much so I find it hard to read.
I dont know if anyone else feels the same, perhaps there could be a poll?

James Milner is injected with rohypnol before each England match so as not too show up his fellow team mates too much

*quote* Irrespective of the LEAGUE POSITION ( unless its in May) or the RESULT of the game you have just watched..... the merits of the play will never lie.
... u mean like the attractive football the baggies played last season?
*edit* oops forgot the quote

Agree with MON that the subs shouldnt have a pitch side lounge, but then again it does look a bit grubby.
How about replacing the bench with a big ornate carved wooden number, just as uncomfortable t sit on but a damn site more pretty to look at

Hello General
Sorry if this has been asked again recently, but is the HOC report complete now?
I know we have pulled out of the Olympic bid as we could not guarantee the ground would be free from construction at the time, but does Randy already have an approximate date for construction in mind?
The reason I am asking is that currently with our low attendances we could probably pull the North Stand and not lose too much revenue through having a reduced capacity (except maybe some of the big games).
Also with a large number of unemployed in the surrounding area (especially in the construction industry) it would put a welcome boost back into the local economy, and with steel and concrete prices being so low (so im led to believe) could we not also save money on the construction by bringing things forward?
I understand that its not like putting up a garden shed where you can have it delivered by B&Q in 2 weeks, but it seems to make sense to start this as soon as possible.
Also, could you tell us if there is a date set for the unveiling of the plans for VP's upgrade?
Thanks & keep up the good work

Voted Stay
I think MON should be given the benefit of the doubt for at least 2 more seasons.
IMHO as a club we can choose 2 directions to go, the Everton way, or the Spurs way. We can either throw money hand over fist (if we have any?) at a new gaffer every season or stick with what we got, and let him evolve his team, accepting his shortcomings and riding out the blips (Everton had a nasty start to the season the other year, but stuck by Moyes)
I would go for the latter myself
Even so, it amazes me that he started Delph today. Look at the pre-season Jack Wiltshire has had and the class that he has shown, yet Wenger came out and said it would be stupid to throw him into the mix today.
FFS Martin, put your hands in your pockets you tight arse, and buy us some quality

How the **** did heskey get the nod in this game, when he played for england the other night he looked like he spent all day in a **** coffee shop smokin hiself stupid. Hes a big lumbering oaf with no talent, desire pace or skill, i'd rathe rely on the hare all season than play that **** muppet

ITK NEWS
...the Milner / VW deal is off, apparently VW believe when Milner hits the dash it could trigger a nuclear explosion

James Milner is overdue his service by 200,000 miles but STILL KEEPS ON RUNNING, Volkswagon have now apparently tabled a bid of 75 million pounds to take him away from Villa Park to be used as a crash test dummy in their research lab in Hamburg
