Funniest part is he has been one of the worst performers when ever I see Liverpool play. Strolling about with an arrogance like he he is Beckenbauer
Ha ha, yeah he was at fault as much as any last night

Ooh trouble in paradise…
QuoteLiverpool captain Virgil van Dijk questioned his side's desire to win the Premier League after a damaging defeat against Merseyside rivals Everton.
With four games left, Liverpool are now hoping for slip-ups from leaders Arsenal, who lie three points clear, and champions Manchester City.
Defeat at Goodison Park was their second in three games as their season threatens to peter out.
"Do they really want to win the league?" asked Van Dijk.
Goals in each half from defender Jarrad Branthwaite and striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin set the Toffees on their way to their first home victory in the league over Liverpool since October 2010.

What shape was our badge when we won the European Cup?
Maybe we should keep the round one, as it seems like we are performing better with that
We always do well in Europe when we have a round badge… its just the law

Mad to think that when Spurs kick off we’ll have played 3 more games than them… I mean, for a team with no Europe, and not in the cups, that shouldn’t really happen should it!? I think from our point of view it’s lovely to pile pressure on an opponent, but from the PL’s point of view it’s rubbish really and shouldn’t happen

Cheers all, I’ll see what the weather is like on the day and what kind of mood my lad is in, and if he’s up for walking
I’ve parked here quite a few times, it’s usually a £10, but was a £5 for the Europa games.
Only a five/ten min walk

Carlos/Mings/Pau and Konsa is surely enough to start the season with in terms of Centrebacks.
I suppose some of that depends on Mings’ recovery, we all hope he’ll come back as good as before but it was a hell of an injury to get and he’s 31, so there is the chance that he won’t be able to perform at this level anymore. We would all be gutted, I love Tyrone and he’s been associated with such an amazing part of our history, but I think as he progresses and recovers we’ll need to decide if a young CB protege is worth getting in this summer to avoid being short.

I like the look of Tyler Morton at Hull (on loan from Liverpool), bit of a CM/DM hybrid but has some decent stats this season.
Yeah he does look good.
I also didn’t realise Gnonto at Leeds is still only 20, he could have a bright future and if the price was right I reckon Emery could get some good results out of him

I do wonder if we’ll look at the Championship again. If so, who?
Harwood-Bellis from Man City on loan at Southampton comes very highly rated, only 22 and could be an understudy for Konsa and Pau. Man City might want silly money for him though
(I realise that isn’t really ‘going to the championship’ though, apols)

Chelsea look a team whose season is over and going through motions
But then against Everton they looked resurgent and like they had something to prove… a very strange team. On paper they’re good and they’ve shown glimpses, but battered tonight

Can't wait to be hated by other fans as one of the new "Top 4"
I imagine they’ll think of another name for us, possibly of five letters, and ending in unts

I also really like that we bought a big stake in Real Union.
There aren't many ways (or examples of) clubs and owners being able to show their support for their guy. Supporting his private venture that has huge sentimental links to Unai, really puts a stake in the ground that he's our man and hopefully ties him to us a little bit longer
And his son is in our academy too.

You'd have to start at his feet, and upgrade through the season to his eyes. Free food and drinks on upgrading through each joint.
Shotgun watching through his scrotum.

Let’s build a statue of Unai, that also seats 60,000 people, you can sit within this hollowed out head and watch out of his eyes/nostrils

The deal was something like 10 mil up front and another 10 mil only if Sheffield survive. If they don’t then Villa don’t get the other money and are obliged to buy him back for, say 8 mil. So, essentially, it’s been a 2 mil loan.
Ah fair enough. Like you say, it’s a glorified loan, which was clever by the club to protect our asset and clever by Cameron to protect him too

We're also getting Archer back, as we have an obligation to buy him for £9m if Sheffield United are relegated, effectively meaning it was a loan move.
I might be wrong but I read that Sheffield payed £21m for him… so that’s a tidy profit, even if it’s £9m we’d rather not spend?
