I don't want luck in the draw

I don't want us in this competition to get easy teams. I don't want to be playing Leipzig, Brugge and Glimt. I want the giants.

I honestly don't care if we go out in the "group" stage. I'd like us to go through, sure. But I'd honestly rather play Bayern, Real Madrid, Juventus, PSG etc and go out in the "group" than play the easier teams in the competition and go through.

In future seasons it would be different. But for this one I want the occasion, not necessarily the results

You can only play two teams from each pot, so we are going to get two difficult teams, some middling one and some easier ones.

Yes liked the Ugarte link before he moved to PSG so if he's up for a loan deal would be all over that aswell.

I also like Lobotka at Napoli. Don't think they're even making europe this season given they're 8th in Serie A so will be a few key players leaving them.

Too risky a position just to sign a kid. We've seen Emery not wanting to put Tim in so just signing a similar type from Europe won't make much difference.

    Kvaratskhelia please Monchi 😉

They've won every Premier League game in 2024, except for:

    • A draw to Man City away
    • And a loss to Unai Emery's Aston Villa.

They'll probably miss out on the title by 2pts.

    A very good evening indeed.

They shouldn’t have parked the bus then at The Etihad 😂

I think in the case of the FA cup it would really depend on how well we’d done in the champions league - we’ll know by then if we’re into the knock out stages. If we’re already out, then I wouldn’t be surprised to see us go full tilt for it.

To be out of the CL by the FA Cup 3rd round at the start of Jan, we'd need to have been pretty bad in the CL, as there will still be two games still to play after the FA Cup 3rd round,

I love how some fans of other clubs are saying that we’ll struggle to finish anywhere near the Top 6 next season because we’ve got Champions League football.

If anything it was tougher this season playing on a Thursday / Sunday schedule.

I also believe that the momentum we gained from the European games actually helped us in the league.

Plus we have a manager that knows exactly what he’s doing.

Yep, playing Conference will have helped the players who’ve not played in Europe before get used to it. Newcastle might have fared better in CL if they’d have had a season in Europa first. It also helps that we have a very experienced Euro manager.

He is spot on, last few days has shown an absolute weakness in mentality from the fanbase and he wants to win games

He seems pissed off, I wouldn’t be surprised if he walked after the season finished

i do get whats he is trying to say/do.

But at the same time, they are 5th, not 15th, and the way he is talking does come across a little like a mardy child throwing his toys out of the pram and throwing his players under the bus, they wont take well to that.

its hard, i do get what he is trying to say, but there are ways to say it and he just comes across bad imo, with all the short, mardy answers, implying the players have shown him something terrible over the last 48hrs, implying that heads are gonna role.

again, they are 5th.....not in a relegation dogfight.

i reckon if you had offered them, or us 5th at the start of the season, both sets of fans would prob have bitten your hand off, but the way Flange is talking its as if the world has ended and he is blaming the players, its just a bit weird.

To me he’s having a go at the fans, not the players. They got no support tonight, it was like a morgue.

    From Wolves forum:

"They’ve done well . Let’s not ignore the fact they have probably breached FFP to do so though.

Shows what can happen if your best players stay fit. They probably finish 15th without Watkins.

Enjoy their 6 games , now 8 I think - and they’ll be back to 12th and out of Europe in no time."

Spurs fan not Impressed with our chances next season either.

  9. Spurs could actually not qualify for Europe. If Newcastle and Chelsea win both their remaining two games, and Spurs lose to Sheffield Utd they would be 7th on goal difference. If United win the FA Cup they take the EL spot, 5th Europa and 6th Conference 😂

Did the commentator really just say that one of the saddest things to have happened this season is when De Bruyne injured himself against Burnley and missed half the season?

What about Mings you biased prick?

Do you want him to name off every player that got injured this season during a Man City Spurs match? What about Tom Lockyer who nearly died?  Surely more deserving of a mention than even Mings?

Of course Ange decides now is the time to play Van De Ven at LB and finally play his 20m backup CB, as well as pack the midfield. Where was this energy when you were getting destroyed by Arsenal and Chelsea? Takes him to gameweek 37 to have an inkling that maybe Flangeball doesn't really work against good teams.

Isn’t it better that he’s only realised this in GW37 when it’s all but too late?

Apparently Arsenal fans have been buying tickets in the Spurs end tonight and will be thrown out. Also is a good few spare tickets

This could be a surreal atmosphere

I can’t quite remember anything similar to this, you could genuinely have a Spurs goal and it not be celebrated 😂
