Am I the only one that thinks Kodjia is also **** useless since his injury? I remember it being a much more widespread opinion when he was getting minutes in the championship.
He goes by Kodija now.
*Looks at team sheet

The constant whinging about Wesley is getting tiresome. He started playing football at the age of 14. So to get where he has within 8 years is remarkable. And how many Wesley haters have scored in the Champions League???? And what did Kodjia do today? Apart from being on his heels a few times?
Wesley is struggling we’ll address it hopefully ASAP by bringing a new face in.
12 games later and no league goals or assists. Talk to us when he's scored a goal.

Conceding more goals with extra players? Yep, I think we all know what needs to happen.

I piss myself with laughter every time this guy attempts to jump for the ball, it's comedy gold. Whoever recommended him to us clearly took a backhander.
Linked with Arsenal BTW. He would've fitted in perfect there because they're the worst group of players for over three decades.

Today we all saw the difference between premier league quality strikers and a fraud who cost 22 million.
Even more embarrassing is we paid his permanent fee by handing them £17m for brace face.

if we can take benteke and andos townsend for 50m this might be the way out of the turbulent waters smith has steered us into.
Benteke hold up play and goals, townsend plays left right or centre can deliver and score too. both are upgrades on all our strikers and wingers. both proven prem players.
Townsend isn't wanted or worth a penny over £15m and Benteke, I'd take on loan with a clause or a straight transfer at £8m.
Not quite sure where you pulled £50m from?

I only noticed McGinn was playing because he kept giving the ball away.

He's not fit, Smith didn't say so in the broadcast press conference, but he did with some of the written press.
I guarantee he'll miraculously be fit fit for Tuesday.

Are you guys sure you’re Aston Villa supporters?
You're the type to stick £20 on us beating City away because the odds were "too good" to pass up.

Davis isn't fit, i think he has only just started running again after the injury.
He's fit. If he wasn't Smith would have said so in the press conference yesterday.

Prices reduced to £20 for season ticket holders for 72 hours. Those that have already purchased at £30 are being sent a £10 food/drink voucher.
RIP £33 ticket purchasers.

Apart from Mings and Steer, we've got a fully fit squad according to Smith. It doesn't matter though because we all know there won't be any surprise inclusions.
With Davis and Kodjia both fit, it'll be interesting to see which one makes the bench.

My side would be:
Heaton
Guilbert Engels Konsa Targett
McGinn Luiz Nakamba
El Ghazi Wesley Grealish
Subs: Steer, Elmohamady, Hause, Taylor, Lansbury, Davis, Trezeguet
Luiz and Nakamba? When has those two playing together ever worked?
The short answer is never.

For the love of god, just get another front man. We will get relegated if we persist with Wesley this season. He’s bringing neither goals nor assists, I think he’s slowly dragging the rest of the team down.
I read earlier that Wesley has had only one off target attempt at goal in 180 minutes. That basically means, even if we bring in the most average striker next month, it's pretty much going to feel like we've signed Ronaldo. Exciting times are ahead!
Okay... I'm slightly exaggerating.

Just thought I would drop in to say I don't much like Vardy. What an insufferable ass.
W***** of the highest order but a loyal, top notch striker and one I wished played for us.

Schooled by a very good team.
Agreed but that piss poor starting line-up of Smith's didn't do us any favours.
Also, we're 3-1 down and he does nothing for ages. Go for broke man and go two up top. If we get a quick goal back it's game on with lots of time left?
Why is Kodjia even on the bench if there's clearly no faith in him. All very bizarre.

Oh dear, 10 men again. Considering how many free kicks we get we ain't very good at them are we. I don't think we'll get relegated but gonna need to spend a few more quid in January.
McGinn looks a different player recently
Wesley is playing a different game
McGinn needs dropping. His head has clearly been turned.
This is like the 8th game in a row where he's been non-existent.

Today I learned football player = goals + assists. Conor Hourihane must be precisely 2 times the player Jack is with his 40 goals + assists since 2016.
How he walks into this team full of absolute ballers like Henri Lansbury and Glenn Whelan I'll never know.
The classic deflection. We're talking about one player specifically but we'll throw three more into the mix.

Jack is one of the best players in the league.
That's not actually true is it. That's your opinion and it isn't backed up by any statistics that really matter except sky's logic of making you the "most created" because you're the "most fouled."
Imagine being top of the "chances" board - it's not great it is.

I think we can all agree that Jack is a much better player than he has shown this season.
No we can't. 9 career goals and 12 assists since 2014 (Five Seasons) is a reflection of how poor he is. He needs dropping and pronto!
How the guy walks into the team week in, week out is actually beyond belief.

People make out like Grealish is this "unlocking creative genius" that changes games and frightens defences up and down the country. In reality (the real world) he scares no team, barely creates anything, rarely changes a game and is averaging 2 goals and 2.5 assists a season. The excuses of "he's played out of position, on the wing and teams double-up on him" won't wash with me. He sees plenty of the ball every damn game and produces very little.

Huddlestone is a washed up, slow, non assisting, low scoring midfielder. Imagine a starting eleven of him, Hutton and Gabby?
In fact don't..

He did good in his 20 minute spell yesterday and may have earned a start against Leeds. If he does feature, we need to be seeing this Ayew, the one who looks threatening with some sort of end product.

1 in 10, 2 in 20?

Excellent first half performance. Five more wins to go!
Kodjia is a disgrace. This will most likely be the only opportunity in his career to play in the Premier League and he doesn't give a flying ****.
Get rid, asap.
