  1. I didn't see anything today to make me think we could beat any other team in this division, home or away, so:

    1. We will be relegated, but...

    2. ...it's not Sherwood's fault. Lambert should have been sacked 2 months ago to give Sherwood a chance in the transfer window, and..

    3. ... we could come back stronger. Southampton, Newcastle, West Ham and others have all done so recently.

  2. Think we are going down! Crazy appointment of someone who thinks he's a legend in his own lunchtime.

Reckon we will beat Stoke, flatter to deceive for a couple of games and then fall out of the league.

Bloody hell! Things must be miserable in Gloucester.
  3. John Terry on the other hand, I'll be happy to never see put on a pair of boots again in his life, this vile excuse for humanity is a disgrace to his profession and I'd imagine even a pair of criminals like his parents can't help but feel a little bit ashamed when they watch him play. I think it's fair to warn them in advance that I intend to retaliate to his winding up of the Holte End after the final whistle by attending his funeral dressed as a clown and honking my comedy horn throughout the service for my own amusement. I don't like him and I don't know anyone that does.

Extremely bad taste. Love it. Couldn't agree more.

  4. £15m for Westwood? Don't be silly. He is worth £7m max.

As for Ricky Lambert it has to be some sort of joke, why does Paul Lambert just go after big strikers? We are trying to play the ball on the deck at the moment, just more proof he has no idea what he is trying to do with this team.

Cahill would become our best midfielder, get Robbie Keane back too.

I didn't realise big strikers can't be good on the deck as well.
He looked pretty good "on the deck" when he put that one in against us the other week.
  5. I would be against buying Lambert because he's probably cuptied for the FA Cup and therefore could not score the day before his 33rd birthday. Players always score when it's their birthday or around their birthday. Or else commentators just mention their birthdays a lot when the players are celebrating a goal in the absence of anything else useful to say. But no I'm pretty sure it's because players always score on their birthdays. So no thanks

    Really??!!

  6. Did not expect this news whatsoever. Always got the impression he'd be off at the first opportunity. Now if he can just find those scoring boots...

On average, he scores once in every 32 games. I.e. just over 1 a season.
