How many will Man city get against this lot?

If someone had told you 2 years ago that Marc Albrighton would be playing Champions league football in 2 years, what would you have said? 

Never has any manager had such little effect on a team than this one.

I was really looking forward to next season in the Championship,  but with this manager, owner and players, my optimism is diminishing by the minute.

Enough already!

Before this game,  I was starting to doubt Garde, but having seen him on the sideline today, I can see that he is as frustrated and angry as the rest of us .

I hope he is given time, albeit in the Championship,  to build something. 

Come 5'o' clock, this might not seem to be a bad result. There'll be a shock or 2. this time for a change, not us. (Remember Sheff Utd, Orient?) Crap pitch and conditions,  bent ref... Stay calm, we didn't lose.

On keeping the faith…In life and football, you first have to believe. If you don't you have no chance to do it. Let's say it's more difficult. I am realistic as well. But in football you can have a run of winning games. In every league in every year you see teams losing games and then winning four, five, six in a row. Why not us? But for that we will probably need one or two or three players to bring new freshness into the team. 

On the transfer window…I will try - the club with me. This will be a key point in turning the situation in another way in the second half of the season for sure.

On the application of his players…Today, to be fair, I didn't see a team that didn't give everything they could. We got back into the game with this great goal from Carles but then we conceded another one. When you concede so many goals like us, it's difficult to win games. Of course, you have to look at the result which is the main target for every team in football. But you also have to look at the way we played and, to be fair, we didn't play so badly. I can blame some of my players in some situations of course. When you concede goals it's always because you made mistakes.But then I saw a team that wanted to fight. But we probably missed some quality.

Right,  that's it! Let's get down  to VP with pitchforks and torches!

After today, I am really looking forward to next season. Why? 2 reasons.

1. If we stay up ( and that is about a big an 'if' as you could possibly imagine, and one that I don't believe for a second) it would mean that we had Won a lot of games against decent teams, giving hope for the future.

2. If we go down (almost guaranteed),  we stand a chance of winning more times than not. We might even challenge for a trophy,  albeit the Championship trophy. I just want to go to VP and see us win regularly. I don't care if we are beatin Chelsea or Walsall.

PS  Garde is definitely the right man, long term.
