Think he was expecting it low so was stretching out. Could have so easily been a goal. Great play by Carew in the build up

We played 4-5-1 in the first half vs Rapid Wien last week. How many chances did we create? How many goals did we score? And that was away!

This is at home. Rapid will sit back and defend. Gabby can't use his pace against a defence defending from 30 yards in. Our midfielders won't find any room behind their midfield let alone defence. Two big men up front is just what we need.

That is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the lineup. Just have to see how it goes. Lasted longer than the first leg anyway

Not a bad lineup can't see them trying to attack us too much so 442 makes sense. Wouldn't have minded seeing Albrighton start, two big men up top and his crossing could have caused them problems.

Only saw the second half but was very impressed with what I saw. 451 NRC exactly what I'd been wanting to see since January. We look so much better for it.

Biggest smile on my face right, didn't think we had a chance so couldn't be any happier right now. Even better for Gerrard giving away a penalty.

If I was O'Neil i'd go Albrighton for Gardner. Milner comes inside Sidwell for Delph.

Can't blame Heskey too much he isn't getting much support from the midfield and wasn't far off with the chance he got

Sidwell is so lazy when we have had the ball in the middle. He doesn't make any space just stands there watching the game go by. Has put a few tackles in so he hasn't completely disappeared for once

Has Heskey ever controlled a ball in his life??!! and why is he playing right wing??!!

He's not he's moving into the channels to get the ball. He can't just sit in the middle and get marked out the game

Looking forward to this one, I would go with.

NRC shielding the back 4. Delph linking defense and attack. Sidwell has freedom to get forward into the box. Went for Heskey over Gabby To hold the ball up and bring Sidwell and Milner into play but if it isn't working bring Gabby on second half for Heskey as well as Young for Albrighton and play Milner, Young and Gabby as an attacking 3.

Just English and I can speak very, very basic German. Strange thing is if I hear people speaking German I can understand it no problem I just can't speak it.

That's exactly what I would go for. Strongest defense we can put up and a balanced midfield.

I honestly won't be surprised in the slightest if he plays the same squad we did against Wigan.

Stay for now but there are some real issues that do need sorting out.

The one thing that is really starting to annoy me is the selections, every game the same starting 11. It clearly isn't working you have a squad, yes a bare one but use it. Playing Wigan what are they known for? being a physical side so you play a midfield with a player just coming back from injury and a lightweight kid. You have NRC surely this is the sort of game to play him in. There's just no change teams know exactly what we will play and it is so easy to counter.

Hull for me they did awful last season after surprising everyone at the start. Burnley shocked a few big teams in the cups last season. Don't think they will stay up but can see them picking up points

50 - 75% used to be never until I had to have an operation to untwist one of my balls and then just after I had to or I made a massive mess and trying to clean it up wasn't much fun. Then after that it sort of became habit.
