Im not quite so sure what the fuss is about this lad so far, Im unsure why the whole fanbase seem to think hes the answer - the times ive seen him in a villa shirt (albeit very limited) and certainly apparent in the First friendly and last night at Walsall, he looked shaky to me........ doesnt get touch tight, missed his headers and hes all shoulders n shinpads....... I personally think were pinning our hopes on him and he doesnt look the part to me............... Hopefully, its down to rustiness after a bad injury........... i just dont share the optimism that most do......... in my opinion of course

Looked like he was asleep at Gronningens 4th goal. But yes whatever, pre season, but I too am not seeing Okore as our defensive saviour. Would like to be proven wrong though, but the hype here is a bit insane, imho.

It's is so easy to open our defence. Everybody is fast at sleep.

Hutton really should lose a couple of stones. He'd be much faster then.

I am seeing 'ClubCall' recon Ki could be available for £1.5m ... that sounds like a bargain, if Ki doesn't have outrageous personal demands.

Someone on Twitter wrote that Chelsea wanted £8m for Bertrand. While a cracking player and better than Richardson, we don't really have that option, do we. *sighs* ...

It's only a few month ago, he was in Copenhagen partying with his enabeling drinking buddies, where he drunk out of his skull was yelling and screaming at a taxi driver, making 'adult' movements towards the car and ended up running after the taxi flogging it with his belt ...

That is just the latest out of ... I lost count ... of 'Bendtner' stories. There are many more.

I cannot get into my head why on earth we would even be talking to this person.

He priced himself out of a move to Germany recently so would seem surprising if we managed to get him. I think he'd be a good signing if we did though.

Initially Bendtner was said to want a 40 million kroner first year package (wage + sign-on). 40 mill kroner is about £4.5 mill.

Frankfurt didn't go for that, but has apparently offered Bendtner 15 mill kroner a year on a 3 year deal. (about £35k pw).

If he is being priced out of that deal by us, I am .... well, very surprised. Then again, we are talking about THE Lord Bendtner, so obviously we'll have to break the bank to sign such a class player.

If Lescott is available Villa should be bidding. There is no way he should be going to a lame outfit like Albion.

He has been available since the end of the season and we were apparently in for him last month, we signed Senderos instead as the word was that Lescott wanted to hold out for better offers.

He has had his medical at the Baggies now.

 

So basically West Brom can offer Lescott good enough terms, and we can't ...

Villa could pull a nasterstroke with bendtner hes 26 and a freebie lets say he signs has a blinder of a season a big club may come in for him we could get 5m fir a player who cost nothing its a win win imo

Hopefully (imho) Bendtner will think of Villa as too small a club for a man with his abilities. *fingers crossed*
