VT can be such a miserable place. Cheer up and be happy. If it doesnt happen it doesnt happen. There are plenty of more important things to worry about and concern yourselves with.

If what doesn't happen? The ITK speculation is so good I don't even know what the speculation is.

I'm all for rumours about players and positions we might sign but now just posting asking who wants a PM or keep the faith is the level its reached.

 

 

Fair enough.  However, there are reasons why legit info is not posted regarding players and that is because a deal may be scuppered if it gets out in the public domain.  Alternatively Richard may just been told to expect a good end to the window without being told a player or position.  I.e. he has told you what he knows.  There are very few people who are genuinely ITK about exact names and positions.

Tbh I dont think it is either of those.  It is someone who is privy to info being optimistic about the rest of the window based on some info he has got.  It may not be 100% we are signing this player, it might be we are hopeful of getting a really good player in.  I.e. don't get your hopes up.

Why not just say that then?

Don’t mean to be rude but you really should post this whether its true or not. Unless they are signed sealed and delivered anything can go wrong resulting in nothing interesting happening.

It whips everyone up and when nothing happens results in more abuse towards the manager and club down to no fault of their own.

 

If he has heard something and it proves to be true, there may be the slight chance that by getting in the public domain it may harm things.

Or it could be a vague statement with the obligatory maybe/should/possibly/probably/hopefully inserted in as the escape clause, with the hope that when something happens credit can be claimed without actually making a definite claims about anything specific in the first place. Possibly. Maybe.

Just out interest - is there anyone out there who is still on board with Lerner ?  - ie do you still beleive that once the finances are sorted we can move forward under his ownership - not a witch hunt - just trying to gauge what Level of support Lerner still has ?

 I've always been 100% behind Randy & Lambo & all though I am not privy to what goes on behind the scenes I'm pretty confident that these guys actually do know what they're doing & the current necessary financial economic policy & investment in young, vibrant potential that has been implemented will eventually reap it's reward. The fact that we are now actively looking to bring in some more experience too will only aid the Clubs further development.

 

Once we are firmly back on an even keel our acceleration will hopefully become more discernible.

Yes he dribbles well but a lot of the time it goes nowhere. Maybe we are too static, or maybe its lack of awareness of players around him! I was dissaponted with that shot in the first half and the way he lost the ball for the 2nd goal.
