I have been shouting about pushing Delph further up the pitch since I saw him play in my first visit to Villa Park. We can discuss this all day long and many of you guys on VT would be against it and start talking about it being a stupid decision. Bringing in a DM would really give Delph the opportunity to play further up and score more goals, maybe not as sexy as his goal yesterday still!

HAHAHAHA DID ANYONE SEE GUZAN HANDSHAKE WITH CLARK? Guzan smashed Clarks left hand wotch apparently was injured and Clark started screaming haha

A DM is important for me though, I'm not saying Delph is a AM but he does have the abilities when going forward. Watching the replay of the Liverpool game and the trickery he got is sometimes amazing. Unfortunately he never gets the chance to do it near the opponents 18 yard box and many of the occasions he has lost ball is because of the amount of players in midfield. As soon as he gets past one theres always another very near to pick up the ball. A perfect example is there to see in the Liverpool match, got passed Gerrard by ease and then comes Lucas to pick up the ball. With a bit more space and I'm sure he can open the opponents defensive line and create chances!

Also paid a lot of attention to Grant Holts way of playing. He surprised the Liverpool back four with clever touches and one lovely back heel during the game. He has that calmness in his game witch I presume comes with his experience. Weiman loves one touch passes and therefore looses the ball in may occasions while Holty picks it up, hold up the play and take look around. If now one found in a attacking position then he just passes the ball to either Delph or Westwood with a simple pass.

Got a question regarding Frimpong, has anybody here seen him play? I've asked some of my Arsenal players and the only good thing they talked about was his "funny circus", witch I saw written here as well, but that he does have talent when manages to remain fit. Looking forward to these coming days, for some reason I feel very optimistic and happy as I think PL has something secret, as always, going on!  UTV. 

Delph, Gabby and Weiman were all brought in the second half the last time and we simply dominated the second half with them on the pitch. With Delph finding his form back and Benteke firing on all cylinders and with the reinforcement of Ryan Bertrand we look much better this time around and I look forward to this game. I just hope we don't play awful after two very good performance..

We love to give the bigger teams a living hell and we play awful at times against teams that we should win against. 3 - 1 Villa for me, Delph to score in a counter attack. 

Just bring King Heskey back

Has to be the best match this season! First half..just wow Villa were outstanding. Everyone played their part and I really love how good Clark is becoming. His spell as a defensive midfielder under Houllier is the reason for his calmness on the ball and ball control while his defending has been top notch at times! Delph played great aswell but Gabby MOTM for his great passion and commitment. Hope he didn't hurt himself to much when he fell

PS. The fat bloke who just stared at Gabby while trying to take a picture instead of helping him up.. just wow..

Is there any AM besides Kiyotake and Hoolahan that are our targets? A exciting signing would lift us fans and the whole squad! Also somethings telling me that Holt is going to have a lot of fun in the air battles with Skrtel today

Nahki Wells scored on his debut to win the game for Huddersfield. Looked a bit nervous and tbh not BPL quality just yet (even though I rate him)

It really is depressing. I used to look forward to the weekends to see my lovely Villa win the easy matches and challenge the bigger teams by actually playing some decent football instead of counter attack every match and have no plan B. we are so prefictable and the fact that we managed to get away with som points this season is simply a miracle. I don't know Mr. Lerner and I respect him for staying with the club but it's useless while the team suffers and he only wants money :/ I don't want a big fat oil rich owner who makes us the new PSG or Man City. I want a owner who loves the sport and the club. Villa lack passion ..

I'm not saying Wells is miles faster but he is faster. Delph is a fast player and managed to run head to head with Gayle (until he got f**** by his dribble). In last years cup match everybody in Villa hade a hard time catching up with Wells. Remember him playing out wide on the second leg match and if Gabby wouldn't be there Bennett would have a living hell! 

His a bit like Gayle in palace but a bit more to offer. More skillful and faster with great finishing just look at his match against us. Bradford have the perfect partnership with Hanson the target man and Wells the player running for the headers. Benteke inform and Wells alongside could hurt a lot of defences..

We seem to be out of the race for this lad

Would love to see him in a Villa shirt, Stoke seems to be favorites according to Sky atm ..
