There's not a more odious wretch in football than Wilfried Zaha.
Get him in!
Wilfred Zaha, you say.
I'll see your odious wretch and raise you a meanspirited lickspittle!

That's United-esque. Shit, not creative enough and still winning. UTFV! X

We really struggle against a low block, need to be quicker and more creative.

The annoying thing about Unai's encouraging comments is how often we are going to be reminded by some folk that most of the links are trash and in fact, we won't be signing them. As if we need to know.

Calvert Lewin out of our match with Everton.

Does being on the internet make people think they care about things and should tell other people they do, when in fact, knocking one out gets the job done quicker and with an equal amount of satisfaction?

Late blossoming journeyman? He's 23
Yeah, not so much in terms of his age, but he's moved around quite a lot - 6 clubs in 3 years - without settling anywhere properly.

Must be a scouting one as his CV isn't particularly impressive. Would be massively surprised if anyone at VT has watched any of him!
Strangely enough, another left footer that predominantly plays on the right side as well.
Yes, he appears to be a late blossoming journeyman, perhaps. The clips I've seen reminded me of a Bailey-esque box of tricks, with a touch more muscle and power, allowing him to also be a bit more direct.

Not been in here much lately, so don't know if you lot have trashed the Ngonge link yet. Any informed opinion on him, irrespective of whether he signs or not?

He just released a statement saying he is looking forward to a great 2024 with Roma
Rishi Sunak released a similar thing where he was talking about carrying over all the great progress the Tories have made under his leadership into 2024.

I already know there is a problem. Too big a drop off to our second string. We need 3 top level players to get us top 4 and keep us there.
That most certainly is not going to happen in January.

Can't believe we went 2-0 up against the team I watched lose comprehensively to Bournemouth recently. I said after 2-0 up why have we given up high press on their defenders and letting them run at us. Seemed like we gave up on the basics that have seen us do well. I can't help but put that on the players not following the gameplan
I would say it's been coming. We haven't been convincing for a while, but still picking up points.
It might be fatigue, who knows. We are significantly weaker without our best players playing in our preferred formation.

Fail to win this and you know there is a problem.

Those struggling with the outcome, don't be such a fanny. You just need to tune into the old school denial mode...

Abject second half, mistake after. mistake and didn't adjust even though their press was clearly causing issues and passing was off all game. Ending as another one of those pathetic Old Trafford capitalions we should have left behind.
It's been a great first half to the season, pity to end it on the lowest of low points. Pretend title challenge definitely over now.
High pressing teams always cause us problems.
-
All of our players need to wise up. The two things we struggle with are the low block and aggressive pressing. Do that and we nearly always crumble.

The worst thing about this result is that it breathes life into those clowns and allows the press to start sucking their cocks again. Really unnecessary. Booooo!

Not the first time he has been too casual. Looks great when it comes off and **** pathetic when the opposition scores. He's a good player, but too prone to thinking he's just having a kick about with his mates on the copacabana.

You know what has happened - we have run out of luck. There have been plenty of games recently where we haven't played well and nicked points, well today has been the opposite. We played well in the first half and we're shit in the second half, deserving to lose. Well played Manchester United. The commentators couldn't be happier.

This is old school Villa.

Timid. We haven't matched their energy and we deserve to lose even if we don't.

Second half has been wank.

That is typical Villa.
