I have to say, I can’t help but feel playing in the Europa Conference has allowed us to find our feet in Europe, of course the Champions League is the pinnacle and I would be elated to get there but, if the likes of Emi and Ollie were happy with Europa League, I can’t help but feel it would be the right next step, maybe not running before we can walk?
Was it too much too soon for the likes of Leicester, Newcastle and Brighton?

Of course I may be completely overthinking it and Unai will nail whatever competition we’re in! UTV

On the Diaby or Bailey question, for me it doesn’t work when we start both, so as long as the one starting on the bench impacts like we want, I am happy either way. 
 

Also, I took Diaby out of my Fantasy team, so he’s bound to score a hat trick tonight!

Let’s be fair, Morstar came to ‘not concede’ - if they could score on the break, bonus. They very nearly achieved it and fair play to their defence and especially their keeper. 

We’re not good enough yet at being the team expected to win, and go and break teams down - but we will have learned a lot tonight and will get better at it.

Not an excuse - I think Newcastle were by far the better team and deserved to win, but the Mings injury did us no favours defensively. 

A pretty familiar starting 11, which is probably the right choice considering we are opening at St James Park. 
 

Looking forward to it - UTV!
