We play some nice stuff then sucker punch ourselves with a cheap turnover.

Daly doesn't get nearly enough service from out wide. She seems frustrated.

To me, it's almost like when the men's team were struggling and we had Benteke. By hook or by crook, get the ball to the in form centre forward.

It's still not right. It's a shame because Man City didn't look all that special.

Last time against Everton there was one point where Daly was, let's say, making it verbally very clear to the rest to get up the pitch with her 😅

We all do it. Although I tend to mostly mutter my 'instructions' sotto voce rather than shouting them.

Unless I'm watching on TV, then I'll shout at the top of my lungs - my missus can always tell how the match is going. :)

We do, but not from kick off and all through the game... right?

  3. I guess it shouldn't because they're getting into the game and it's how they enjoy it, but... when you get people constantly shouting out instructions at the players. Just shut up. The players know how to play, they're probably following the manager's instructions and they're not going to be following the instructions of some random in in the stands anyway. Also, if you're going to keep shouting out to one player in particular, at least get their name right...

I thought it has always been 16.30 kick off? For a while now they've been inviting supporters to come early and watch the men's game on screens at VP.

Realised it was originally 2pm kick off when it was going to be held at the Bescot. That changed when it got moved to VP but that was weeks ago.

  5. I was at the game today and I'd say were were by far the better team, really goes to show how much we've missed Dali as well.
Lehmann seemed upset when getting back on the bus after the game, hopefully it's just annoyance from not getting onto the pitch in our first win.

  6. It was an odd game to get my head around, I feel like we were the better team for much of the game but I also can't say Tottenham didn't deserve it. It seemed like we kept trying too often to find the perfect chance for a goal rather than to just take a shot when there was a decent enough opportunity. I thought Leon and Parker were excellent, Daly is always up for it and Blindkilde-Brown had a decent game. For the rest, I can't say anyone really stood out until Pacheco came on, she really wanted it and was trying to encourage the crowd as soon as she ran over into position. I hate to admit that van Domselaar hasn't had the start to her Villa career as I expected. I have faith in her and I know she is a quality goalkeeper and she did make some great saves during the game too. No idea why she was so far off her line when Tottenham had the ball in our half for that goal. Seems to be playing sweeper keeper but it didn't work out.

Their 4th was a mile offside. The WSL desparetly needs VAR as the officials just aren't up to the job. The lineswoman couldn't keep up with play and seemed to be using guesswork to judge offsides. Officials didn't cost us this game though, they did against United and arguably Arsenal but it's just something that needs addressing.

I dont want a world cup at Christmas again.

Its for the summer not the **** winter when its dark and cold.

World cup you watch in summer evenings with your pals at pubs.

I have no friends and I don't drink but I fully agree.

  8. We played well against United and had there been an impatrial set of officials, we may have won that had Daly not been wrongly called offside when through on goal and refused a clear penalty later on.

We were poor for most of last night against a team I feel we should beat, there is no denying that but I wouldn't panic just yet. When Dali and Hanson are back and Pacheco is back up to speed, I think we're be a lot better.

They've changed the pies and they're not as good!

Was it labelled as a 'tandoori' pie?   If so that's the new stuff.

I just asked for a balti pie and got a pie in a tin in a plain box..tasted the pastry more than anything but it was packed with chicken to be fair. I wasn't going to pay £12.50 for some fried chicken 😅

    OK then:

    - Thundercats lion head with a star for the eye

    - Blue on yellow background with various sound waves and local authority  boundaries worked into it

    - AVFC above and Aston Villa below (claret letters, two different fonts)

    - Extra star for the Intertoto Cup

    - Hexagonal

What about a QR code that takes you to a page with badge submissions from Villa supporters, that way everyone is included.
