My Hero, which somehow escaped getting cancelled after 1 episode.

Also, here's and interesting one for you. I genuinely hated That 70s Show when I was a kid but because I fancied Mila Kunis I carried on watching it and ended up loving the show. I wonder if fans of Mrs Brown's Boys had the same experience?

Where the hell do we get a better manager from?

Suzanne Bakker of Ajax is being let go despite winning the title last season and getting to the Champions League quarter finals this season, I think she'd be good.

First ever watching a live womens game for me.

General observations, not as much cheating such as shirt pulling and rolling around as if being shot and more respect for the ref. Thought we might get more than 4000 yesterday, is this usual for a womens game at VP? Perhaps it reflects the poor performances this season.

Villa, seem low on confidence, loads of misplaced passes, poor first touch and decision making. Thought our keeper looked very solid to be fair on her debut, really disappointed for her with the soft goal at the end of the game.

West Ham, their number 20 was a very dangerous player we had trouble keeping her quiet - very good player for them. Their number 9 also looked good.

Conclusion, would I go again YES! As long as it was at VP. It was a fun day out, far less stressful than watching the mens team! It was also good to see the match from a very close to the pitch side in C6 row 10 instead of K5 row 27 at the back of the Holte!

Ps my granddaughter loved it and although is a confirmed Ipswich supporter she might just now be a Villa womens supporter ....

Attendance really depends on the opposition. Against Arsenal at VP a few weeks ago, I think the attendance was around 10-11,000, though they always bring massive support. At the Bescot we usually get 2-3,000 attending, though that can double depending on the opposition.
Although I only went to about half the games last season, it still feels like more people are attending this season despite the struggles.

  4. Listened to Miri Taylor after the game and she said that she hoped her perforformance last night would kick-start her Villa career. Interesting phrasing with 3 games left, could that be an indicator that she may be staying? I believe we were after her in the summer?

Football doesn't really work like that. However, with 6 games to go, we are not technically out of the race for the title. Which is brilliant and bizarre!

I'm hoping for a Homer at the Bat style end to City's season since that's more likely that the FA dealing with their 115 charges.

Grealish going to prison for all the unsolved crimes in Birmingham. DeBruyne visiting the Manchester Mystery Spot and is never seen again. 😌

This victory belongs to @whitsend. A deeply superstitious man, he did indeed give up his ticket and possibly the best seat in the Holte End for the greater good and Villa have been richly rewarded.

I'm sad I didn't get one of those awful two team scarves though...

  7. We need real investment. For the price of one decent male bench warmer, you could buy an entire squad of female players. I'm not saying that to belittle women's football, but that's the truth.

The fact we've lost Hampton to Chelsea's bench and no doubt Daphne to Arsenal's bench, I think shows that maybe money could help retain players here, it's not all about game time.

Sound like Adidas are launching a 3rd tier for their national team kits, they're going to have a €150 shirt, €100 and now a €60

Nothing said on whether or not they'll do the same with clubs

It's good but at the same time slightly depressing that they're doing us a favour and doing a "cheap" €60 shirt

If Ajax is anything to go by, they only seem to have one tier of shirt available and I can't spot any different between what the players are wearing and the shirt I bought. No air holes or different textures like with Villa's current replica and pro versions.

Daly seems quite settled just bought a house next to me and was previously renting in the village.

True, and I don't like to speculate on player's personal lives but going off social media posts, I think she may be in a relationship with Mayling.

If they were a few years younger, definitely. Dali being 33 in the summer and Daly not far behind will hopefully work in our favour.

33 is still young! Take that back! 😢
