Well you could take one of two views I guess.
There may be ways in which our experience might help you broaden the knowledge amongst your fan base that your club is being wrecked.
Or, we might just be popping by for a cyber version of a Zinger and chips.
Your call Mr Sensitive.
Maybe it's a bit of both

As a poster I enjoy and appreciate them, as a Moderator I'm happy that they're within our guidelines.
I wasn't trying to moderate and wouldn't expect their posts to be removed. I'm probably being oversensitive, but it feels all too much like picking over a corpse.

I can't speak for him, but I'll speak for myself.
Growing up in Erdington in the early 80s as my mates went to Rotterdam and I went to Plymouth to get hammered 6-2 wasn't fun, I took a lot of stick, but we're all big boys, and as we all know, once you have a team, you have a team.
I worked at Villa for a couple of years stocking the bars etc, worked Villa home games, used the money to go to Leeds games the week after.
I've loads of mates who support Villa, yes you've had the upper hand for 15 years, yes, I enjoy a giggle back, but here's the rub.
We've seen shit owners on a level you can't begin to imagine, shit criminals who nearly ended our club.
For all I want to get promoted before you, I've no interest in seeing Villa crushed as a club, and be in no **** doubt that is your potential fate as it stands.
As far as it is possible to calculate, you are way deeper in the shit than we were, because we hadn't the leverage that PL money provided you.
I know the poster you quoted, and I honestly think, in a dispassionate fashion, he is telling you to get your heads out of your arses and start to accept the level of trouble you may face.
FWIW my view is you probably need to pray for admin quickly, a friendly if not loaded buyer and a few years to re-build.
If this Xia fella hangs around the hole only gets bigger. We tried all sorts to unsettle the words removed who owned us, opinion is divided how much effect it had, but it is better than doing nowt, right ?
To me at least, and I'm sure to most others, it's clear we are DEEP in the shit. How Leeds fans descending on us like carrion will help, I'm not really sure.

I know some of you have said over recent weeks that I'm wrong, and that what happened at Leeds is no guide as to what is happening to Villa. I'm afraid that its all too familiar and was all too predictable. Genuinely feel sorry for you guys. Historic clubs shouldn't be wrecked by foreign conmen.
I'm under no illusion about the terrible, terrible state we're in. I don't think you're wrong that we're screwed. I find your continual, highly-detailed descriptions about the heartache we're in for strange and entirely unsympathetic.

Its pretty clear now that Xia doesn’t have the sources of cash to fund your club and probably never has. The money that has gone into Villa since his purchase has all been parachute payments, fresh debt or asset sales.
If he wants to hold on for it’s for a couple of reasons (1) he can’t afford to sell at the loss he would have to sell at, it would wipe him out given that his Chinese interests are all **** as well; and (2) given that he might as well cling on in the hope something turns up.
The likely (if grim) truth for you guys is that catastrophic administration at Villa is no worse for Xia than a sale at fair value so for him the rational thing to do is keep his claws in on the off chance someone turns up to offer more than take the club and it’s debts off him for a penny (or whatever your real net worth is at the moment). Of course his ideal scenario is that someone buys a minority stake in the club in exchange for injecting a load of cash. But only another delusional lunatic would buy in on those terms. And you don’t need another delusional lunatic owner.
So you sell Grealish and Chester for the highest upfront fee you can manage as distressed sellers. Perhaps £15m in total, which should enable you to make it through to October at their current burn rate. Given loans have all disappeared off, it doesnt leave you with much of a team. You can’t afford to sack Bruce so he’ll hang around until a better offer comes in or go through the motions. In the meantime the club’s infrastructure will be gutted - didn’t another senior backroom guy leave today/yesterday?And I guess you hope that what turns up isn’t mid season meltdown, relegation and admin...:(
Why do you keep posting this stuff, you ghoul?

I hate people who tell a relatively funny joke to one person, the person laughs and then the person who told it, systematically goes around the entire room to tell every individual that joke.
**** hate them.
Haha guilty as charged.

RIP Steve's dad. Condolences to the whole Bruce family.

I didn't expect us to win. I did expect us to compete. This is disgusting.

I'm glad we won... But I don't feel like I just watched us win.

Bruce may or may not get us competing (I lean heavily towards not), but we will never be entertaining while he's in charge. After all these years of crap it feels like good football is something that happens to other teams.

@TrentVilla was right. Hysterical is the new fickle. We're going to be cursed with this shit for years now.

I've been a big supporter of Bruce, but after that, I'm very concerned. We look so far off a league winning team. It's ok to say we had chances to win today, but the same was said during RDM's disastrous tenure. I expected far more from a stable team. Hopefully we go on a run and I'm made to look like a reactionary dickhead, but after that I have little faith we'll be in the mix for automatic promotion.

Who would buy Gardner and how much would we get for him?

Hopefully he doesn't remember the Holte singing "let him die" when he got injured against us a few years back.

Mate, we're drowning, proferred hand or not. Unless you've got a spare £100 million in the other hand, then I take it all back!
As I've said in another post I'm probably being oversensitive. I guess it's just hard to take going from competing for promotion, to being on the verge of being out of business, and then having guys saying "it's going to get worse and worse and worse".
