Thought he played well tonight. But a decent shift in, put in some quality balls. We could do with someone who could cross balls like that. For me, Bannans best position would be behind the striker in the no,10 role whilst roaming out wide. No manager seems to play him in that position which I find strange.
i think he played in Palace in a attacking midfielder role.

What's the point in getting taken over now?
Financial Fair Play means that it's too late.
Couldn't they just "sponsor" the stadium for hundreds of millions though?
True but Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool would probably complain to the Premier League and put in some kind of rule to stop it happening.
They weren't able to stop Man City doing that.
Yeah but FFP wasn't in place then.
I just think it's too late.
No its not. There are quadrillion ways to get around FFP.

Randy can put some terms into the sale agreement... i.e. no name, badge and colours change.
-
ok, hypothetical question: Red Bull buys f.e. Juventus. Do you think that they would change the name or colours?

when talking about popularity level you can look at this old topic
http://www.villatalk.com/index.php/topic/6842-most-popular-english-football-clubs/ -
from the wikipedia:
"The investment in SSV Markranstädt by Red Bull is not the company's first attempt to enter the Leipzig football scene. In 2006, it tried to purchase FC Sachsen Leipzig, a club with a rich tradition, but also plagued by constant financial trouble. After months of fan protests which deteriorated into violence, the company abandoned the plan."
i think that you all will know what to do if they'd want to change name, badge or our colours... -
As i have posted before, i think they would not change the name and colours, because it could backlash at them.

Had a dream about this game last night. We've won 1:0 after Kozak's header.
How often do your dreams come true?
Haha, hard to tell! Usually my dreams are abstract... but recently, i dreamed one or two times about my ex girlfriends and they've unexpectedly called me next day, after a couple years of silence...

Celtic and Rangers will be admitted into the 3rd division in England within ten years time, and be Premier League regulars not long after.
i hope this will come true

Is it true that now even teams which are relegated from PL get more money than Champions league winner? i've heard it somewhere... I think that won't be any real drastic changes to league and european cups format (Europa league and CL merge - maaaaybe, but not something called "super league" with 20 richest clubs or something like that. I think that Premier League will continue to be the most watched league in the world = it would draw next "rich arabs".

Just met KEA in Sainsbury's, top bloke, said he loves life here and he just wants to keep improving his game.
I hope he put a lot of emphasis on the word improving.
Not that I hold much hope, he isn't exactly young.
Hopefully he will be off to Palace to join Bannan in January.
I'm sick of posts like these about him.

Tim Howard will be doing commentary for NBCSN's broadcast of Chelsea-Man City this Sunday.
Well, i think he has tourette's syndrome, no?

My GF bought 2 tickets to "Fiddler On The Roof" in the theater today. I've said "you know what, go with your brother, Villa is playing today!". And the rest is history...

he tweeted that he's on his way back to Birmingham and that he has a "good feeling". So i think that he is in good shape

Whats the matter with that Vydra fella? Won championship player of the year and now he haven't played single minute for them.

I think a lot of people have seemingly forgot how good Ashley Young was for us. He may not be a Man Utd quality player, but I'd take him back everyday of the week. You can go on about his diving, most players dive, in fact remember Gareth Bale against Guzan, that was worse than anything Young has done IMO, would people want Bale here, course they would.
So if it's a good player who's a cheat that's fine but if the cheat isn't that good of a player then morals kick in?
I didn't like what Ash did for Man U against Villa, but all players , including current Villa players, cheat more or less. Ricky Lambert cheated shamelessly against Villa last season at Villa Park for Soton's penalty, but I doubt him or many of their fans had a sleepless night because of it.
It was Rodriguez but R.Lambert stupidly stated it was a clear penalty after the match.
It was Ramirez

In England, they would propably only change stadium name. With all due respect, Austria Salzburg was smaller than any Premier League club is right now while others (Red Bull Leipzig) were formed directly by RB. I think that RB knows that changing such important things like name or colors could be a very very bad move in terms of marketing here.

What, no comments about Karims performance? He had very good game, constantly pressing the opposition and showed a couple of good passes forward.

Kevin Friend robbed another claret and blue team this weekend, West Ham this time.
-
You can't win anything with old men.
Where's John Terry?
Can someone explain me source of this "John Terry with various winning teams" meme?
-
Attention Spurs fans, how is Christian Eriksen expected to fit in and is he expected to quickly establish himself?
haha, fantasy football dilemma?
-
Interesting though that Kevin Friend has not been selected for any game this weekend and nor has Taylor.
Taylor was main ref in Cardiff - Everton game last week.
-
£8000???? The FA can **** right off, how about fining the incompetent referee and linesmen for their shite performance?
Wasn't even **** dropped, while the ref in our game against Arsenal was. Really consistent.
No he wasn't

he got a lot of stick after the Everton game last season, when he was too close to Anichebe and was outmuscled by him. A lot of opinions that this was due to the lack of experience etc. West Brom - Man City on wednesday: Demichelis did EXACTLY the same and Anichebe of course scored
