It's a genuine question. A lot of fans are really pissed off about this facility and the people using it, but what about your matchday experience has got worse as a result?
I'm not exactly angered by it but the loss of toilet and bar facilities is definitely having an impact on the rest of the ground. The queues for both were noticeably longer at the Everton game.

I'm assuming that is aimed more at the final if we make it
Good point, I'd have no chance of getting a ticket for that anyway. Cheers

I'm a STH but can't make this game as I'm on holiday, just noticed this in the T&Cs:
• Attendance at this fixture may be included in future sales criteria required for further UEFA Conference League fixtures.
Not really sure what to do seeing as I'll obviously want to go to the future games (if we get through)... buy the ticket and let it go to waste? -

That has to be the funniest line in The English when Toby Jones's character says to Eli, "well, I didn't know you then like I do know".
He never disappoints Toby, even when he's only in something for 10 minutes, incidentally, I hear Detectorists is coming back, that will be fun.
Unfortunately only for a Christmas special episode on Boxing Day rather than a full season. One of my favourite TV series!

Wont be able to watch it at lunchtime but anyone if it'll stay on there to watch this evening?
It says below on the website so my guess is that the recording won't be available tonight but will be available soon after:
QuoteDue to broadcast rights, supporters in UK & Ireland only will be able to watch live coverage of Aston Villa vs Brighton & Hove Albion on VillaTV. The club will, however, provide access to view this match at a later date.

Lopetegui appointed. Not a bad appointment unfortunately.

It doesn’t actually sound that cut and dry reading about it and it’s a pretty weird situation brought about by the COVID shutdown.
They agreed a loan deal until the 30th of June and the contract said they would have to buy the player on the 1st of July if they had been promoted.
The end of June came up and the loan contract ended. Leeds asked for an extension of the loan until the end of the season but could not agree terms with Leipzig. They hadn’t been promoted which would have triggered the transfer of the player so the player returned to his parent club.
Leeds subsequently went on to achieve promotion after the player had gone back to his parent club.
The player has moved on from Leipzig and moved on again. Now Leipzig want Leeds to pay a transfer fee for a player they never received who now plays for Nantes.
Plays for Basel now.
Maybe my judgement is skewed by the fact its Leeds getting done over for £18m

As if we would ‘just pay up’ if it was us
I understand why they're not just paying up from a business sense but ultimately their argument is just based on a technicality. They signed an agreement and should have to stick to it.

Jean-Kevin Augustin: Leeds lose Cas appeal and must pay Leipzig £18m | The Independent
QuoteLeeds United have been left “surprised and disappointed” after losing an appeal against Fifa’s ruling over Jean-Kevin Augustin, which leaves them with a €21 million (£18m) bill to pay RB Leipzig.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) sided with the German club, which should lead to an opening instalment of €6.7m (£5.85m) for the striker, who spent six months on loan at Elland Road in 2020.
Looks like they'll have to pay for Augustin after all, and rightly so too!

You still get reward points. Eventually they build up and you can get something.
'Something' indeed, great if you're after an AVFC phone case for an iPhone 4. 'Pride Rewards' is generally not worth the effort imo.

No freebies with the card this year? Have got less and less. One time I got a Villa review of the year book, then it was discount vouchers for food and drink, then a badge.
Used to get all sorts with the season ticket, some naff souvenirs (car sticker, pin badge etc), free VillaTV access, drinks vouchers, free cup game, discount in club shop. Seems the only thing we still get now is the free cup game (if we manage to get a home game), bit rubbish really considering the price.

Forest signed Awoniyi so looks like they won't be after Davis.

Sounds good. How was check in and bag drop? Assuming you checked in online beforehand.
A mate is flying out this morning so hopefully gets through okay.
We were only going for a couple of days so just had carry on luggage and checked in online but didn't see any long queues at check in.
Although I've seen someone else on Twitter say it took them hours so it seems to be luck of the draw tbh.

Good luck. Let us know how you get on as we're flying from Manchester in a few weeks.
It wasn't bad at all tbh, 20 mins to get through security to departures. No problems on the way back either.

It is down with the resale status as cancelled so presume my season ticket is valid for the match?
Mine says the same, going to assume that the ticket is valid.

I'll be flying from Manchester T1 on Friday, the mini bus company have told us they're picking us up 4 hours earlier than normal as that's how long it's taking to get through security.

Does anyone have any idea how much the hospitality type tickets are these days? I want to take my old man to a game but as he doesn't have a membership, I'm looking for other alternatives. The main site pretty much states POA so I've no idea how much a meal and a match might cost.
I took my dad for his 60th for the Watford game. That was £125 + VAT each but essentially it depends on what team we're playing as they're split into price bands. I'd imagine the rest of the fixtures for the rest of the season are sold out now as they seem to sell pretty quickly but I'd recommend giving them a call, they're pretty helpful.
