Cheers, yes, basically I wanted a chromecast for a stereo, looks a bit expensive for the luxuary it offers though  

I guess I can just put my TV into the Stereo and use that, no good for the kitchen though

Is there a way of doing this without buying a specifically compatiable stereo? I have a Harmon Kardon GO+PLAY II which I love and it has an ipod dock (My old ipod just died   ) and also a mini jack in so you can plug your phone directly in which is ok, but is there something that I can plug into either socket that will receive streaming from my phone (Android)? Been searching around but not sure what it would be called.

I liked him, at least he was interesting unlike all the bleak boring really bad people that play nowadays. And he was good.

Anyone got a decent alternative to Airdroid for transferring files wirelessly from computer to phone, its now telling me that it wont transfer files over 10mb unless I subscribe whihc it never used to :/ maybe my trial period finished or something?

I use es file Explorer and is brilliant. It can also connect to cloud storage, has a built in media player. I love it.

I made the stupid move of using the HTC synch manager which managed to lose my backup phone profile when I had to do a factory reset (it was backed up but automatically wiped over with the new factory reset profile....) anyway, any recomendations as to how to get music back on it easily? I used Double twist before which WAS ace (just click and drag what you want) now it seems to only do that godawful playlist sync thing and wont send music from my pc to phone anymore. 

Suggestions?
