Delighted about the clean sheet, back 4 were brilliant.

We lack more creativity and someone to finish - Gabby & Weimann poor… as most have said once Benteke back we 'll be ok.

Hopefully see more of Cole and Grealish… thought N'Zogbia played well.

Signings? A winger that can dribble, pass and cross. Dont think we need to sign another striker.

Hopefully see Cole, Okore, Bent, Grealish and Sanchez start midweek!

Chadli would be ok from Spurs... 5 mill?  
Then maybe Campbell on loan from Arsenal until Jan?  

 

Our defense looks fantastic.  Add Okore and Sanchez into that..... extremely solid.

Thought we did OK first half.

I certainly do not think Clark, Baker or Bertrant are anywhere near Premiership standard.

Once the first goal went in we should have brought on either Robinson, Tonev or Grealish and gone for it.

Second goal went in, third/fourth flattered them.

Grealish should have come on a lot earlier.

Some of the players on the park are not premiership standard!

Whoever owns/manages Villa next season need to bring in 5-6 first class starting 11 players. Mix that in with some of the crop we have + our injury's we'll be fighting for 8th spot no worries.

Thought Benteke was average today.

Offside so many times and failed to pass at least twice to players completely open in scoring positions. If he'd pass we would have finished them off.

Didn't understand our subs today either, could have lost it at the end.

Nevertheless great 3 points… Weimann was incredible, Delph fantastic, Vlaar rock solid. Onwards and Upwards but we need 2 top class midfielders and pronto if we are to improve!

I think this is one of the positive things that is happening at Villa Park.

Most the players at Villa now are worth more than what they were bought for. The only exceptions is the Bomb Squad.

I think financially (and football clubs are in a terrible financial state), we are looking not too bad while maintaining top flight football. I feel safe in the knowledge that the future of the club is bright and with a few other positive first team signings we could be pushing for a cup/europa league in a couple years!!

Bacuna's best position is right of midfield...either in a 3 or 4.

It's a shame we have so many defensive injuries right now!

It's a shame we didnt win that match but I guess a draw was fair.

I think we lost all our momentum when Gabby went off, he brings us something real special. I wish we didnt have so many injuries in defence because I think Bacuna would work well in KEA's position.

Thought Vlaar, Clark, Delph and Gabby were all fantastic. Also thought Bertrand and Holt played ok for debut's.

No way should we sack Lambert!!

I think (and I know many of you will disagree) we have a decent squad of players. What we do need is 3 or 4 first team premier league quality players added to the team. Right now I would personally say Guzan, Vlaar, Delph, Gabby & Benteke are quality premier league players. We desperately need 3 or 4 more this transfer window and we will be fine.

We've had loads of injury set backs this season - Gabby, Benteke, Vlaar, Okore, N'Zogbia, Kozak (6 of our better players).

I keep thinking a subs bench like: Steer, Okore, Clark, Westwood, KEA, Weimann, Kozak isn't all that bad.

A starting 11 of Guzan, Lowton, New CB, Vlaar, Luna, New Mid, N'Zogbia, Delph, New Mid, Benteke, Gabby isn't all that bad!?!

We need 3 creative Premiership quality midfielders… and pronto!
