They weren't responsible for this were they they ?
Who knows. I've seen this posted a few times and i still am not able to read it even when i zoom in. Anyone a better copy?
Guzan - Good, comes through bodies to penalty spot, distributes quickly for counter attacks, will distribute long or to holt and is accurate, frequency he comes of line means hes prone to error and doesnt like physical too much
Lowton - Average height, lightweight, poor defender, does not get tight enough. lacks aggression. lacking in confidence. struggles in tight spaces, out of his depth
Vlaar - good mobility, quick change of pace, probably best defender, does get caught down the alleys and doesnt particularly like having no protection there, comfortable on the ball. ask questions in this formation
Baker - Attacks ball and does OK,struggles with any balls played in, vulnerabe against powerful quick forward "Big Weakness"
Clark - lacks mobility, pace and sharpness, vulnerable 1 on 1, loves a pass back to Guzan, lacks confidence in posession
Bertrand - athletic, all round defender, good on recovery, plays long under pressure, when confident gets forwardm good crossing quality
Westwood - Looks to come deep and take ball from back four, tidy passer of the ball likes to pass and move, defensively does compete,
El ahmadi - decent 2 touch passer, does not penetrate with passisng or movement, little attacking threat, not the bravest, poor defender, doesnt get tight and struggles to press
Delph - high energy, good engine, covers ground well, wants the ball, flys into tackles and gets booked, often becomes ragged and loses the defensive shape
Holt- strong but not grat mobility, if balls arent up to him does not show energy to get the ball, strong and competitive with back to goal. willing worker but effectiveness at this level can be ? if we get on top of him early
Agbonlahor - strong quick, played on left but upfront as 2 today. will drop deep when they have the ball at the back but on transition looks to break in behind on the counter, this is when hes most threatening, can cause problems running at defenders, reluctant to do anything out of posession.

how is he getting away without wearing shin pads?

Because in those teams they are playing along side vastly experienced players. You can't throw kids in along side other inexperienced players, who have they got to learn off? I would like to see them a bit more off the bench instead of Bowery/Tonev but it is very risky to think about them starting games.

the hyperbole on here is absolutely **** ridiculous

There are always rubbish teams in the premier league. Sadly we're part of that group nowadays.
I think the bottom half of the league has been the poorest it's been for years and years, how many of the teams down there will even get to 40 points?
It just shows you how bad you have to be to good down nowadays. We've had a good go at it the last few years breaking all sorts of home records.
I think that's completely incorrect. the Bottom half is better, that's why it's so competitive now. There's no whipping boys anymore, it's never a given any more that the top 4 teams will beat the bottom lot as has been proved over and over this season, gone are the days of teams winning the league with 1 or 2 losses. Disregarding the top 8, the rest are very even, just look at some of the players at Fulham who are bottom. Heitinga, Risse, Sidwell, Richardson, Hangeland, Parker, Rodallega, and before January, Berbatov. Experienced Premier League players as well as dangerous players like Dejagah and Holtby.
The points total has little to do with the quality of teams, because the league as a whole can get better or worse.

Honestly I've found myself far more invested in Leicester over the past few months. This team, the management, it's completely dull and boring and inspires apathy. I haven't felt this way about Villa since I started supporting them 20 years ago.
is it because they're winning?

i'm sick of hearing and seeing fans booing or slating our players before games are even over. Holt should have taken his shirt off and shown his fat belly.

always harsh on weimann. he's making the runs, getting into space and having efforts.

Liverpool should be everyone's most hated club. No club has an arrogance like them. The belief that their club has an atmosphere of romance unlike any other is completely invented by them and I can't believe people fall for that shit.
Man Utd were ruthlessly successful for a long period of time, have a lot of deluded fans who've never experienced anything but winning and are despise-able, but there really isn't any competition between the two.
-
I've never seen him play but I'm confident he is better than Lowton and Bacuna combined. Bearing in mind the common criticism of those two is that they can't defend, another attacking right back should be a priority. If we don't sign the guy, Lambert Out.
-
They're trying to foul their way to victory, this is the stoke we know. Unfortunately it seems we have officials that are comfortable allowing that. Keep playing as we were and we can still win

Somebody contact Ronaldo and let him know he should stay at home
haha, exactly, Con get in touch with Brazil because they should know that Hulk won't be able to cope

Winning the ball on the half way line, skipping past a player that hasn't missed a tackle all season and playing the 1-2 before that finish is a big part of why it's such a brilliant goal
-
It wasn't "Up the Villa" from what I can tell...but he does have a very broad northern accent. Someone ask him on Twitter.
he said "that's for you" and then a girls name, girlfriend or daughter most likely

The Van Persie goal was offside and it really irritates me that it not only cost us a goal and Lowton GOTM, it also got ignored again to get GOTS. Any time it was discussed it pissed me off that not one pundit went "hey, he's actually beyond the last defender when that ball is played to him..."
The problem lies with the fact that MoTD don't pick the 10 best goals of the season they just use each month's goal of the month. That's how Lowton's wasn't even in contention despite easily being one of the top 3 goals of the season.
that's what I mean sorry, the offside was ignored twice. so Lowton got denied the opportunity to be there and they then even gave it goal of the season despite having had however many weeks to finish wanking themselves stupid over it being Van Persie and look at it objectively. No goal where there's been an incorrect decision from officials should win any award, despite how wonderfully taken it was!
Back to Delph, if that was Suarez/Sturridge linking up for that goal today, we'd have had to endure all that 'SAS' bollocks for weeks

Must be bloody mad trying to fight ivanovic and matic at the end
He gives a sh!t, that means a lot.
That's one of the things I really love about him, he seems to genuinely care about the club, or at least the squad (if that makes sense).
I think its fair to say that its one of the things I really love about our entire squad. They all seem to give a shit about each other and the club, they really fight for the badge, even if we play badly you can't fault them for effort. I know I sound like Lambert but it is true, they give 100% in every game and it is clear that it is for one another rather than themselves.
Bacuna hasn't even been at the club for 12 months but he has clearly bought into the team ethos, for all the slandering of tactics and such I do think that it shows good man management.
this is one of the main reasons i can't believe that people so freely boo/abuse/slate our players or managing staff because for the first time in a while we're watching a team full of likeable players who put everything they have into Aston Villa. I certainly wouldn't trade watching them over a team made up of Warnock, Dunne, Ireland, Downing, etc even if they we're able to get a few more points (although that is debatable).

retribution for the reverse fixture with the first red i think. then we made it count. brilliantly played game, a lot of great decisions and hard work paid off.
-
The fact we have to debate his achievements at past clubs to allow some to praise him as a good manager shows the poor job he's done here.
No, it highlights how idiotic it is that some people are seemingly unable to give him any credit whatsoever.

Goalposts change. You can improve and stay where you are. The league is vastly different now to even 4 years ago. Ask Man Utd fans.
-
Weimann wasn't great but put Gabby through with a perfect pass and we should have gone 1-0 up.
-
Marc has to start the next game.
-
To all you Lambert defenders: What the **** is this? We've seen it all season, can't create anything against an organized team. Another tactical masterpiece? Lambert doesn't have a clue. If it weren't for the lucky wins against Soton and Man City we would be in the relegation zone
But... we won those games.
-
Francis is completely clueless.

I agree (that it's likely fake), and actually the stuff on Lowton feels like a villatalk assessment after we've lost a game
