Losing to Coventry City at home for the first time in the clubs HISTORY with JG at the helm, that stands out for me.

Second would be the 8-0 drubbing to Chelsea.

Third is all the defeats by small heath.

Then 3-0 against Doncaster, losing twice to IFK and throwing ourselves out of Europe.....

I remember the Beckham saga, my thoughts were "why is it the villa player has to have his contract termimated because of David O'Blinkin Beckham." For all the anger over a players conduct, I had never heard of someone being moved on because of it. Cantona got to keep his and he kung fu'd a fan in the face!

I see that villa bench full of backroom staff amd I have no idea what they are doing everyday, collecting a paycheck for doing the bare minimum a dour Scot expects.
