Can't believe I'll be cheering for Germany in the final.

Merely popping a like on this post is not enough. I may have just woken the neighbors with laughter. Anyhoo, I can't quote believe the match I've just seen. I'm glad this Brazil team has been found out, and I thought Germany would be the team to do it, but not like this. Oscar comes out of it with some credit, but as a whole Brazil have gotten exactly what they deserve. Germany on the other hand looked calm and assured. I loved seeing how angry they were at conceding even though they'd already slapped the opposition silly. Should be a good final, and the 3rd/4th playoff could be interesting too.

Oscar should have scored. I think Brazil may have got a bit of a talking to at half time...

I think some serious questions have to be asked about the Brazil team now. There are several players who don't deserve to be in this team, but Hulk always seems to play and Fred seems to have become some kind of un-droppable talisman. This should be the impetus for a major shake up and it's long overdue. And I'm sorry, but David Luiz is terrible.

Harsh on the Dutch keeper. Given Navas' performance so far you've got to fancy him to save a penalty here - or someone will miss, my money being on Van Persie or Vlaar (just to take the piss.)

In fairness to Costa Rica, they have defended resiliently. Can't believe that the Netherlands haven't scored, especially in that last mad scramble. Thing is, while I like to support the underdog, I don't want a semi final where one team just defends, so sorry Costa Rica, you've fought valiantly, but you have to go out now.

Belgium were way too static, especially Origi. Hazard disappointing, should have subbed Fellaini. In the end the match was so interesting I went to change the cat litter. That is NOT a euphemism.

I actually really like him. For brazil he is a completely different character and player.Fair enough. My mum works in a shop and every time she sees his face on a Pepsi bottle she turns it around so she doesn't have to look at it. It was a great free kick, mind.

Knowing that they're going home (assuming things stay the same), could you really blame the Columbians if one of their players chinned the ref at the end of the match?
