Well, unfortunately, Domination has crawled its way onto BF4..

 

You can really tell that people from COD are playing it, no one (or barely anyone) tries to "dropshot" people.

 

Also, no one goes for the objectives, it's honestly, painful to play.

I didn't hate domination from CQ in BF3, as it was just conquest on a small scale but I don't like it at all in BF4. It really does just feel like a COD map, and infantry isnt my game at all. It just plays like TDM.

The only non standard game more I have enjoyed is CTF and we have to wait until second assault to play that mode now.

Also BF2 is available for £3.49 on steam now

Really impressive piece of kit.

The first console I can remember where the graphics haven't been a huge leap forward. Clearly better, higher res, more frames. But nothing compared to the jump in previous gens.

It's got everything I hoped for.

 

Streaming, record video, lightning quick, and I can't hear the console at all when on a game.

What I need is DNLA support. 

I also have a launch p34 and wanted to remove it from the lounge as it is so loud.

Other than that I am loving the PS4.

If he stays fit it will still be a good while before he gets back to his best.

This time last year both Delph and Ramsey were players who looked like very bad injuries had taken their toll. 12 months later and both have come back to playing at a much higher level.

Well I have to say I was enjoying BF4 on the PS4 until PSN decided to crash.

There are more flanking routes in Metro this time. So it wont be quite the cluster **** around B flag.

Not too keen on Firestorm and don't know anyone that is. Hopefully it will be better with 5 flags though. They should have brought Arica Harbour back imo

I hate most maps. Especially Operation Corridor. They didn't learn from Metro.

That would be Metro by far the most popular map ? The one with 100's of 24/7 1000 ticket servers ?

Caspian Border looks amazing on second assault.

Do not buy this game on a 360 or a PS3. It looks horrific, plays horrific and is clearly designed for next gen consoles.

You are correct about it being designed for next gen. The ps3 clearly cant handle it and I hear the 360 is even worse. That being said I am enjoying it. 

I own a PC that can run it on ultra. Sadly as much I like using a mouse I hate using a keyboard and so wont ever play FPS on the PC.

Well I am very much enjoying it so far.

I played through the full round of rush maps yesterday and thought the map design was better than BF3. I think conquest suffers a little bit from the lack of players on current gen. Too many maps are a little bit like Firestorm or Kharg where you can just run around and cap bases.

Still PS4 out next month so not long too wait

I would have said Klinsmann was easily the most liked player.

Came to this country hated as a filthy German diver, left as many neutrals favourite player and seen as a thoroughly good guy.

It is harsh being villa. No money, shit players, high fan expectations.

Shame the game is so realistic

I am interested to see if the rumours about Valve releasing the 'Steam Box' come to anything. That company seems to actually understand gamers and I am pretty sure even with the high barriers to entry the console market has they could do a very good job

Purchased this and it should be waiting for me when I get home.

Need a new FPS to play while waiting for more DLC for BF3. The reviews seem pretty solid so I have high hopes.

Yes I guess from a realism point of view it makes sense. But I must have 1k kills with it

I just feel much more vulnerable now, two good engies can now easily take out a tank. Maybe it just feels that way because it is just all premium players at present. Might get easier when peasants can play.

Also the LAV AD needs a buff against infantry, the AA gun is weaker than a PDW

Loving AK, but hating, and I mean hating the fact that I cant switch to canister shell immediately anymore. Now when an engie jumps out of a tank and fires up the RPG, you can't just kill them with canister and then use main shell on the tank, you have to chose.

Why did dice make this change ? Tanks weren't OP, they are tanks for gods sake.

Also lol at Rush maps with the AC130, it is not so much the constant pounding and instant respawn, but the fact that attackers can spawn in from above meaning you cant keep a tight defensive line.

I havent read this thread before but how refreshing to read a thread on a non fitness related message board that just points people to Starting Strength.

Usually these are full of jokers talking about how to 'tone up' etc.

All anyone needs is SS, that is for fitness, strength, size and just looking really good naked.
