There's only one for me, Nii Lamptey. I was addicted to CM93/94, and when we signed him I thought we'd signed a player who'd become a global superstar. I told everyone I knew how good he was. My football judgement has been in question ever since.

Yeah me too. The Ghanaian Pele right? How could we not be sucked in?

His wiki is a bit of a wild ride.

    Newcastle away

    our kryptonite

    get over it

    should have been 2/2

    then 3/3

everything that could go against us did

    can everyone argue with that

    after that fair enough

but we properly smashed them last season at our place

they didn’t do that to us today

    no way way not close

There is at least 4 Haikus in this post.

  3. Just started a new save. I realised for the first time in years I was gutted because it meant Emery leaving. Normally I can't wait to clear out our managers and get started this time, it was tinged with sadness. Anyway thought I'd share.

  4. Been playing for the last couple of months, what a great game.

It has to be said though, I am shit, like much worse than I should be for the time and effort I have spent learning this game.

In fact I think I actively prefer learning through watching videos and reading to the actual playing. I get so caught up in my tricky trap setting that I fail to see the opponents very obvious check mate, time and time again.

I certainly wouldn't want to be an early adopter

    Nor me.

The price tag and "pro" in the title mean this is very much not a mass market product. Apparently Apple are only looking to sell around 200k of these, which for an apple product is minuscule.

But this is the first wave of something pretty ground breaking imo. 10 years time when they are the size of standard glasses, the battery is better / built in, augmented reality apps and features have been moved into the mainstream, I can see this being to sort of tech that replaces mobile phones for many people.

  6. I always think about 92/93.

First premier league season, us and Man U fighting it out for the title. Their injury time comeback against Sheffield Wednesday which if memory serves saw them go above us in the table. I wonder how different the trajectory of the two clubs would have been over the last 30 years if we had won that year.

  7. As someone who has watched Brighton for 30 years, it really makes me feel so dirty that I was upset with a last minute winner against Man U.

We better have our big boy pants on the last few games as we can surely try and finish above Spurs

Spectacularly unwatchable? I couldn't get past the second episode. It definitely did a better job at pretending to respect Star Trek, but it felt incredibly stupid.

(actually, maybe I already ranted about that on here)

Strange New Worlds is easily the best best Trek since DS9 and a proper return the monster of the week episodic format. A couple of the later episodes in the series are weaker but it is an actual return to real star trek for me.

I am lost why you might think that.

To be fair for years it was. Probably sometime in the late 90's it started to transition into a larger scale T in the park.

I mean Adele headlined on Saturday night so at this point it is just a "music" festival.

I’ll be in amsterdam this weekend. I know it’s not on tv here but does anybody know if non sky 3 o’clock kick offs get any screen time over there?

Yes, they will all be on in various bars. You'll have no issues.
