  1. Not the most reliable of sources but I think Gav would be a great signing for a club like Sunderland. He's just not good enough to help us get to the level we want to be at.
  2. Craig Gordon? I've never seen him play, I know he's rated highly though. I thought it was pretty much a given we were going to sign Boruc though?
  3. Well if that is true how can Small Heath fund wages like that when they can't even afford to sign Andy Cole? Sounds like yet more bullshit to come from the mouth of tom ross.
  4. Am I the only person who thinks this guy is very over rated?
  5. Fowler isn't a shadow of his former self any more. I wouldn't want him here.
  6. More than likely not true but the other day the Daily Mirror linked them with not just Bramble, but also Jlloyd.
  7. Owen went to Newcastle because they were the only club stupid enough to give him around 100k a week, and brand new car and a mansion to live in. He just went there to get some games behind him before the world cup and to put himself in the shop window, and obviously it has backfired on him. Tevez and Mascherano... we all know how dodgy that deal was!
  8. I don't know if I'd want Reo-Coker here. Good player, but has a bit of an attitude problem. Surely we can find somebody else jsut as good or better than him?
  9. No, he gives you the luxury of letting your world class players do their thing. He'd be wasted in the same way Mascherano was at West Ham. So in other words he controls the midfield. Meaning the world class luxury players can 'do their thing', no? And Mashcerano was wasted because he didn't get a game.
  10. Makelele is exactly the type of player we are crying out for.
  11. I'm sure he's signed permanently for Zaragoza, but he was excellent for Portsmouth last season and would be a brilliant signing for us.
  12. I'd take him. Young on the left, Milner on the right... sounds good to me!
  13. That would be brilliant. But would never happen, especially with the form Giggs has been in this season. He will finish his career at Manure.
  14. General, First time poster long time reader here. First of all I would like to thank yourself, Randy, Martin and all the other board members at Aston Villa Football Club for giving the fans our hope, belief and pride back. Secondly I would like to thank you for Saturday's 1982 celebrations. It really was the perfect day. So much so, that a mate of mine who was attending his first game for 4 years has decided to return 'home' on a regular basis and purchase a season ticket for himself next season. I'm sure he's not the only one either, and that General, is down to yourself, Randy and Martin. Let the good times roll. Up The Villa!
