Poland, Italy and Sweden for the 2-2, please.

England-fail syndrome.
You could probably make a whole other thread on that alone. Hell, even Stéphane Guivarc'h was half-decent pretty much everywhere else he went outside of Newcastle.
Sounds like Jon Dahl Tomasson...

Nah I don´t think they (OPEC etc.) are holding back for any other reason than they are not able to supply more. The Saudis have failed to deliver many times.
We continously find new deposits, making them sound very large with an impressive number of millions of barrels. At the same rate existing drillsites are going extinct.
The price has routinely passed $100 on many occasions, top this year was $115 per barrel. So what reason is there not to increase production?
Only country that seem able to raise production is Russia and even they are being pushed to more difficult/dangerous sites, pushing the eroei lower and lower.

Screw the environment.
Isn´t it more about the fact that oil production peaked some 20 years ago?
It has been stagnated ever since, unlike the number of barrels used in places like China, India etc.
Mate the idea that 'peak oil' has been reached is not true at all, the exisiting major fields are still swimming in the stuff - Saudi, the Stans, Russia etc - and the new fields are just more difficult to get to. They are either in deeper water offshore or in pretty unstable places onshore...
...Watch the international focus zero in on Somalia and Yemen in the next 24 months.
Got bikes?Careful, you'll be labelled a Tory if you use language like that :winkold:
That is why I didn´t mention peak oil. Peak production however, is easy to meassure.

Lets just start considering the bible a dangerous drug.
It can change personalities.
It causes hallucinations.
It is highly addictive.
It makes shady middlemen rich and powerful.

How about everybody else using this thread to bare their beliefs?
True honest thoughts on the bible please?
Do you follow a religion and which one?
True honest thoughts on homosexuality?
The bible is amongst the best tools of power and oppresion, used by kings and rulers.
I am an atheist, straight and single, so every male gay is less competition. Fine with me.
Laws against homosexuality and other such moral laws (show me the victim) should have been eliminated a long time ago.

Getting some serious Bill Hicks : Revelations flashbacks in this topic.
He nailed it 20 years ago.

Noah already knew about DNA back then and his ark was filled with samples.
He never caught the unicorn though.

How can one man have the power to sell a chunk of the nations wealth
What a mad system we have
Since Denmarks pitiful amount of gold is stored in London, I´m sure our gold was included in the sale and we have to go viking all over again.
Gold up almost 50$ today. Is it the end of dip-buying for now?

He still got time to make the decision, lots of things can happen.
I am surprised you all feel so dependant of Rooney, yet many expect England to get through a group that currently could include:
Spain, Croatia and Portugal.
How does that work?
I doubt we will playing Spain, both will be in the top group of seedings as things stand ATM.
Back on topic, since Rooney is by popular judgement our best player why would you be surprised we feel a certain dependency on him?
Spain, Holland and the two hosts are rank 1.
In an ideal world where Rooney could just slide in unnoticed in the QF, I wouldn´t be surprised.
If you made it that far I would consider it a major risk, to do so, in this world.

England are just as shite as sweden if not worse.
We would beat you.
Seems like you will get the chance at home in a friendly.
Would be first English win since Sir Bobby Charlton scored, according to Danish papers.

And right after the US market closed, Fitch downgraded the rating of alot of big banks to negative.
Bank of America, Barclays, BNP, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and SocGen.
Friday could get...Interesting.

But usually that wouldn´t turn the reversing car into a "write-off"

No sympathy for sleeping or drunk drivers. Hope the lorry driver is ok though.

he was a very good player but not an all time great for me. If he didnt get 2 goals in World Cup final he be mentioned alongside other very good but not Greatest of all time players like Laudrup, Nedved(his Juventus replacement who did more for the club) and Scholes etc.
Admittingly, I grew up as a huge Laudrup fanboy but Nedved wasn´t fit to wear his boots.

Zidane was awesome. 2nd best French player i´ve seen.

They will have selection problems now. 10 victories in a row without Zlatan or something like that.
I would bench him but that may be after seing him, more or less useless, in alot of matches against us.

Updated seedings.
Pot 1:
Poland, Ukraine, Spain, Holland.
Pot 2:
Germany, Italy, England, Russia.
Pot 3:
Croatia(if they qualify), Greece, Sweden, Denmark.
Some nasty groups can be made here with Portugal and France etc. in the 4th pot.

Woohoo, Portugal ended up in the play-offs. Grats Sweden.

It seems that moderate sucess at a foreign club seems to be a good enough criteria to hire a manager, yet moderate sucess at an English club isn't.
Roy Hodgson could be an option then.

As long as they keep the deciding matches to be played simultaneously, I don´t really care.
Even if it could easily be a nerf to small countries.

As long as this is only about tobacco, then I stopped almost 2 years ago after 20 years.
Wasn´t as hard as I expected but then it was my own decision. Not forced on me.
It almost made me feel like a traitor and I would probably have stopped earlier but the crusade made me stubborn.
Still hang out with the smokers though.
