  1. How stupid would Assad be to use chem weapons?

I just can´t believe any "intelligence" reports coming from US/UK/DK untill heads have rolled for
the lies leading up to the Iraq war. Saddam linked to Al-qaeda, bla-bla...WOMDs, bla-bla...Spreading democracy, bla-bla.

Why wouldn´t they do it again? The west is in panic and fast going broke. 110$ oil = Ouch.
  2. Originally formed by Peter Bosworth. Older than 10 years and nothing to do with any breakaway from a "HV". I remember Peter's old blog site (like a primitive version of the Vital network with more than one club represented) and I remember following him over to this place when he decided to go it alone.

Now if we can just get it from the horse's mouth...

I came from "the terraces" as well. Been lurking ever since. ;)

  3. Not selected for the upcoming Denmark friendly. Could be to let him focus on settling at Villa.
The guy selected (Nicki Bille) plays for Rosenborg and wouldn´t say he was better in any way.

Okore stay in Birmingham as well.
  4. Yeah I´ve made bad choices regarding workplaces and later walked.

5 years at an Investment Bank and 3 years helping Pfizer. Snakes and snake oil merchants.
Now I have cut expenses down to what I can make by myself each month. Starving the beast since 2010.
  5.

As an adult I want the internet to be without restriction, if I want to view porn, access piratebay or other torrent site I demand the freedom to do so.

As a parent I dont want my 13 year old son to be able unfettered access to HC porn which is but a mouse click away.

Now when I was 13 I was off playing in the woods, riding my bike or playing footie, 13 year olds today are skyping their mates, playing on Xbox live with their mates or facebooking them. its a different world and perhaps I am being naive to want my children to keep their innocence a little longer.

Is this the answer........ short term maybe.

It is a different world these days.

Kids of 4, 5 and 6 don't have to see their parents get their heads cut off when someone takes a fancy to their land, or their sisters raped when some tribe invades their village. They're insulated from hate and violence far more than they ever have been and (at least from my experience) see the world in a much more peaceful way.

And similarly, the sum of my sex education at school amounted to an awkward looking form tutor showing condoms to a class of 15 year olds. Now, my son has just watched explicit videos of sex and birth in school at 8. They see sex in far more places than ever before.

So they're learning about killing and violence later, and sex and procreation earlier.

    Really can't see the problem.

think of something like '2 girls 1 cup'.  Pretty much every 10 year old has seen this clip, its legal, yet what must it must do to young kids minds?

How do you stop kids watching this?    There was nothing like this watchable 10 years ago.

As a kid in 80´s Copenhagen most sorts of porn were available 24/7.
You just had to throw some coins in the machine to get your magazine.

Cannabis, on the other hand, were not legal. So the largest market in northern Europe were made in the middle of the city.
40 years later it is still there. Number 3 on the list of tourist attractions and no age restrictions.

This is going to end up in a yes it is, no it doesn't cyclical argument but I disagree

Serious question, do you sincerely think this proposal is actually about protecting children?

personally i don't believe in conspiracy theories - i believe we landed on the moon, that Elvis is dead, and that we don't have aliens captured in Area 51.

so i'll take this at face value, unless someone can show/prove something different.

I guess you also believe that the mafia doesn´t exist, that jews burned the reichstag, and that the Pentagon attack wasn´t caught by a camera.

  7. Welcome to our Danish friends. Are there any other young quality players from Denmark we should be looking at?

The very best are already gone at 17:

Andreas Christensen - played with Chelsea 1st team recently in USA.
Pierre-Emil Højbjerg - Youngest ever to play for Bayern in the BL.
Viktor Fischer and Lucas Andersen at Ajax.

Slim pickings in the Danish Superliga...Except for Okore and Helenius. ;)
  8. Interesting, but sure hope he isn´t Benteke replacement. Our best players usually go abroad at a younger age.
He is behind Cornelius and Bendtner in our national side.

You can´t keep a secret when you deal with Lynge Jacobsen. :P

  9. It is rather close between the top 3 there. Sweden should be strongest but hasn´t been for a while.

I´m not sure Okore will have a secured spot on our national side as we got other young players emerging like:
    J. Vestergaard, F. Sørensen and A. Christensen but he certainly looks good once he get rid of youthful mistakes.
  10. Denmark had the Golden Generation in the 90s with Michael and Brian Laudrup, Helveg, Schmeichel and to an extent Rieper, and some other players who came after 1998 World Cup such as Jörgensen.

I'd say in the 90s and 2000s Denmark have had better teams than Swizerland.

Small correction. Denmarks golden generation were in the 80´s:
Olsen, Arnesen, Lerby, Simonsen, Elkjaer, M. Laudrup, etc.

Nothing special about the 90´s except 2 brothers, a goalie and a freak result.

  11. And govenrments must never rescue banks. Never!

They will keep on doing that until those "banks" go from "Too big to fail" to "Too big to save".

I think the market and regulators are already taking care of it. Investors refuse to invest in the big banks due to the complex structure, and regulators are demaning a bigger core capital, two things that will provoke a split up of the big banks.

I hope so but think they are just riding out the storm. They will happily trade with each other and once the next big thing hits the media, it is back to spend big bucks on corrup..lobbying for deregulations.

  12. Working in mental health, I hate how people instantly jump to the conclusion that perpetrators of these kinds of appalling acts have a mental health problem. This is why there's such a stigma around mental health and why people are so afraid to seek help when they are suffering with a mental health problem, because they are afraid they will get lumped in with the minority who achieve notoriety through appalling actions and subsequent blaming of mental health.

If that was at me, then sorry for the confusion. I was questioning the industry, the doctors and the healthsystem...not the patients.
