  1. Are you? Who said that? :suspect:

You know exactly what you implied snowy. Suggesting that wanting to use these on the worst criminals make him the lowest of the low.

Nobody mentioned those, they mentioned criminals. Have you got any idea how fast we would run out of murderes and rapists?

Even including the wrongly convicted who would end up taking their place. y to you. very often.

Well, a few mentioned the lowest of the low. I hardly think cyclists not wearing helmets fit this category. And no, we wouldn't run out of them quickly, because the intention is hardly to kill them now, is it?

I'm amazed some are making a big deal out of this. "OMG nooooo! we can't test cosmetics on murderers, just think how it will damage their rep in prison!" Jesus Christ.

Hmm, who is the lowest of the low after we wipe out murderes and rapists?

Or should we just stop science when there is a 10 year queue on those?

Edit: skipped the "not killing them" part too fast.

Yes, the intention would be killing them in some tests.

Yes, they would all be useless anyway, since they haven´t lived in a clinic environment.

  2. After reading through this thread I think my opinion is pretty much bang on what CarewsEyebrowDesigner has put

    the lowest of the low

Those keen on experimenting upon other human beings, perhaps?

Well it's a shame you feel a number of us on here are the 'lowest of the low'. Didn't realise I was worse than a murderer or rapist.

Nobody mentioned those, they mentioned criminals. Have you got any idea how fast we would run out of murderes and rapists?

Even including the wrongly convicted who would end up taking their place.

Soon it would become groups like cyclists with no helmet, street smokers and cannabis users. Freedom fighters, fighting crap laws with detrimal effects.

Keep the medical testing on animals please. After all, we also got animal hospitals.

Leave the human testing to Adolf and his ilk.

  3. I hate the fact that i am really confident of a good result. Only thing keeping my optimism at check is that we have already beaten the other skychamps.

Arsenal are clearly the top 4 team that suits us best, especially considering their current injuries.

They may piss all over us regarding technique but they dont like getting closed down fast and they got no leadership or spine.

I consider Fabregas more a "best player" captain than a leader and I read he passed the armband on to Almunia (and dont get me started on him vs Friedel)

    So.....3-1 Arsenal :(

  4. I thought that with only Evra and Vidic in their defence we would have a decent chance of winning, with their team unbalanced and our attacking play working well. Then I saw that their starting line up was actually pretty much full strength, right back aside. Injury problems my bloody foot. It was nowhere near as easy as it had originally looked.

But guess what? We **** won!!! They tried everything, threw all their strikers on, they had their wingers, they threw on Gibson in desperation, and nothing worked as we were simply immense!

FINALLY it's the first time I get to see us win against Man Utd, after so long! (Aside from the League cup fixture that I think was their reserve side)

    YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was very surprised to see their starting line-up. Maybe SAF got surprised we played 2 strikers?

Big compliment to our midfield if not.

  5. Why not give it a chance and try the novel idea of not replacing manager every 4 years?

The main reason for me is that O'Neill is into his 4th year, and yet here we are, still playing turgid football that's dismal to watch. I don't expect us to win every match, but then neither do I expect to see the likes of Wigan, Burnley and Blackburn give us a lesson in how to play proper football.

Your patience-level is certainly lower than mine. I am a fisherman though and a sucker to try some stability as well.

Some important changes in the team as well, going into this year, maybe made me lower expectations a bit too.

I have no problem considering those matches speedbumps, while looking back to Anfield or vs Chelsea.

  6. It seems many fans are as deadly as DE.
Why? Only 17 out of 122 (currently) want him out. Thats a 73% majority in favour. Where is the deadliness in that?

The deadliness is in the reasons put forward, for wanting him replaced:

Buying the wrong players, bad playstyle and hunches.

    Highly subjective.

I think Trickie meant that 17 out of 122 was not "many".

i guess it depends on what you class as many. Personally, i still think that is a high for approval rating for MON.

Had I said few, I would have been accused of singling out :)

Anyway, I don´t like how this debate is always about the person MON.

We got a manager now, who has been here around 3.5 year.

In that time We have gone from relegation candidate to established "chaser" and got perhaps, the most exiting squad I can remember at VP. Maybe not best 11....Yet.

Why not give it a chance and try the novel idea of not replacing manager every 4 years?

  7. A spliff a day keeps the doctor away :)

    Never tried the others though.

I have never heard a good reason why alchohol is so accepted while cannabis is satan.

If the roles were reverse im sure we would have less violence and fewer killed in traffic etc.

We would end up with a safer but more boring society :)

But that surely cant be the reason?

  8. Listening alot to a band called Volbeat at the moment.

A danish band and not sure if they are known outside Scandinavia at all.

But i´m using this topic to promote them :)

Their style is hard to describe but the best i´ve heard is a mix of Misfits and Metallica

    with an Elvisfan singer.

    My 3 favorites right now:

    Volbeat - The Human Instrument

    Volbeat- A Moment Forever

    Volbeat - The Garden's Tale

On the last song they use a guestsinger from another band and he sings in danish.

Will confuse you but still a great song :)
