    I think we must go after players like Ribery - yes he would prefer a move to Arsenal or Man U but if we pay him extra 10 000 a week he may change opinion. I think this is the way to move at another level and to become capable to beat the big four clubs.

    There are reports in Bulgaria that Chavdar Yankov who plays on loan at Hanover from Slavia has been offered to Villa.He is not Premierhip quality yet , has potential but that's not we need at the moment I suppose

    Sneijder is brilliant.I watched him /Bulgaria - Holland 0:0/ and he was the best player on the pitch.He has incredible energy plays very well with both feet /essential for central midfielder/,good powerful shot and could link well with S.Petrov/they both read well the game/

    I'm amazed that he and Freddie Eastwood haven't even been approached yet. I know Sky said similar. I also remember the window where Rasiak (who was of similar stock at the time in the Championship) went to Spurs at 23:55 after no hint of a bid before that so you never know. Rasiak was huge marketing success for Spurs
