It should have been a yellow. It was a tactical foul. Even the match commentator was surprised when the red card came out.

The player wasn't hurt, there was no intent to cause harm. Watch it back....

Yep.... Dialling it in for the majority of his time with us. Very little desire or leadership from what you'd describe as a senior pro.

Our entire m.o. for the past year has been about being in control of matches. It's what's brought us this massive improvement in performance and results. The last few games it feels like this approach has gone in the bin.

Pass it round the defence for a bit then launch it. Midfield is being totally bypassed.

Why have we stopped doing what's made us competitive?

I know losing Kamara is big deal but we have options. McGinn and Dougie in the middle still gives us that solid midfield but we don't seem to want to persist with it.

We've gone from being calm and in control to rash and inconsistent both on and off the pitch.

Missing Kamara... Passing out from the back massively reduced lately in preference to humping it long.

even if we then bought 4 players in the summer (ie: 2 players on 125k p/w each, and 2 players on 50k p/w - for a total of £350k p/w), we are still saving 450k+ p/w and £20m+ a year.

Would help our overall FFP/salary cap position i would guess.

Hang on.... I've been told categorically that moving the fringe players on won't help our FPP position at all. We MUST sell one of our first choice players. There are no other options! There's a poll on here and everything.

I didn't think he was too bad in truth. The forwards had next to nothing to work with all night.

He's fine as a 10 right now. He could perform well there. Not sure he's ready to play as a wide midfielder with defensive responsibilities just yet.

They were on about Foden being in the mix for player of the season. While he's obviously a fabulous player I'm not sure he's been THAT good this year.

What's going on with Rashford? He looks so utterly uninterested.
