I usually park up at Hillingdon. Straight tube to Wembley from thereAny idea of where would be good to park as we're going to drive most of the way? Presumably quite a way away and get tube or train? Maybe even High Wycombe? -
Not much quality from either side. Spuds are a real long ball team, but do it well. A point away is a excellent result.

Booked four seats with Premier Entertainment. Off at 8 from the city centre, £22.50 fare
-
Final tickets going on sale on the 27th. Get in there!!!!
-
1500 away fans even with free travel. SHOCKINGLY BAD SUPPORT!!!
OS is now selling seats to Villa fans in the upper Witton, where away fans normally sit.

One thing that has really got my goat about the ref on Sunday and some may say it was good 'man management', but can it be right that he gives a team the chance to substitute a player before he has to send him off. Kovac was clearly given a last warning, rather than the ref doing his job, giving West Ham the chance to take him off. I know it may not add up to much but I found it frustrating and clearly favoured the offending team. Hey ho, moan over

North stand is sold out, and only wings left in upper and lower holte. Witton Lane and Trinity are limited availability. You should have no problem getting a ticket for the away end though.
-
hope we get a good turn out next wednesday. watched the semi v Tranmere the other day and the Holte was the reason we got to the final (ok plus the three goals we scored!!!)
-
isn't this the third time Clutterbug has incorrectly booked players for 'impersonation' in recent games. Maybe the FA should look at him for impersonating a referee!!
-
what the hell has momentum got to do with it. Are you really saying that the fouled player has to be running fast enough for the trip to make him fall over?Ref had a shocker?I know he got the handball wrong, it was Chimbonda that handballed, not Heskey.
But the Gabby one was never a penner, and he was right to yellow Gabby in my opinion, he dived. He'd dived before he'd made contact with Samba, no where near enough momentum to carry him over either.

I used to think Platt was a Villa ledged but to be honest he has forgotten who made his career and is a real clearing in the woods nob headoh and on a side note david platt, for an ex villa player ive never heard such biased commentary against villa. he was pi$$ing me right off -
**** me. We won and still people aren't happy!!!!! Jeeeezzzz
Yes but he's not there for his distribution skills is he?
I'd imagine he was there to challenge Blackburn's height more effectively from a defensive point of view.my observations: Im sorry but cuellar was f**king putrid tonight, turned it over every time he got the ball, blackburn look like giant cans of redbull, apparently you get booked for getting tripped in the box but not for elbowing redheads in the face. would have been nice to get a 2nd goal but will take a one goal lead!!!!Regards,
Matty Burge
(representing villa Adelaide style)
Agree. Cuellar's distribution was awful, like having Mellberg back at right-back.
Can't understand why Young was bench, unless it was injury. His form doesn't warrant being dropped.
Cuellar is shit at right-back, it should be centre half or bench for him after tonights disply!
He kept giving the ball away or just hammering it aimlessly up field.
But whats the point of winning the ball if you're going to give it back all the time?
Luke Young would have been fine tonight.

On a side note, the Lancashire Telegraph reports yesterday that BRFC are 'hoping' for a gate of 20,000 (including Villa fans) tomorrow, although they have only sold 11,500 tickets to home fans. I know we already knew it, but what disgraceful support.
-
maybe play Habib Baye, Ciaran Clark and Collins in defense
-
After kicking the corner flag James Milner told Carew to give his shirt to the fan or he was a dead man !!

I know I may have claret and blue tinted specs, and I need to see the disallowed goal again, but I don't get this Stoke deserved something that alot of fans are coming out with.
They certainly put a lot of energy into the game and created pressure to an extent, but any team that is more likely to hit the corner flag than the goal really doesn't deserve much.
Sorenson was the most worked keeper and but for a couple of blocks in front of goal we may have had more than the one goal.
Anyway its a Claret and Blue world at the moment.

at least 3000 of their fans decided that two games in a week was too much to fork out for.Just an opinion regarding the turn out at the match. I couldn't give a flying one how many we took. At the end of the day, we're 10 days way from Christmas, it's the second time we've played at the SOL in 2 months, we're still on the back end of a recession, it was a Tuesday night, it was a freezing, tickets were £27, and a lot of people had just paid £50ish to go to Man Ure 3 days ago.Looking at the some Sunderland sites, they're panning us for our turn out, but I can 100% confirm the 700 odd of us that were there could not have been more passionate and vocal. So to reiterate I couldn't give a shit if we take 50 or 5000 to an away game. We still all get behind the lads and make a good time of it no matter what.
You are right, add into the fact we are going to Emirates next week, and then 3 cup ties in 14 days - people don't realise how much it is costing at the moment. I'm a season ticket holder, go to the odd away game , by no wherer near most, and I've gotta fork out over 200 quid extra for me and the kids in the next two weeks.
Sunderland fans have to reailse, they are one of the least attractive games, probably only 2nd to Pompey due to the distance. I had a choice go to Sunderland , or Emirates AND the Cup Semi Final - guess which ones I chose !
In fact I commented last night to a guy at work - there is something to be said for being crap - at least it's cheaper !.
Well done for those who went up.
The sunderland fans can't exactly say they turned up in numbers. There was only 34k there. Doesn't their ground hold about 46k???Agree with what you say, lots of games in a short space of time + christmas + new year = less fans going to away games.

I also think that the defensive strength we have now is the basis on which we can achieve the results we are getting. To lose a main member of the defense and bring on a sub and change the structure and add to the defensive capabilities n the pitch is brilliant. Fergie must be creaming over the quality of the Villa defense.
