I was just thinking actually. IF there bid is better for the future then why not just bid the same and see what the board think. It does seem desperate to bid an extra 10%.

If they do not bid til mid next week then we have no chance of signings before the window. Stretching this out wont be so Win/Win if we have any injuries during the campaign and we are plunged into a relegation battle. Im just hoping that this will be sorted asap.

Doug, been the hardworking bloke he is gets £200,000 a year ish. when the company floated he pocketed a chunk of the millions for selling his shares. And every year without fail at the AGM he would use his shares to vote on giving the chairman a bonus for the hardwork of loosing us millions a year. at the last VFC protest about him he had took £8mill out of the club. and never put a penny in. and now hes got £25mil from the sale so thats £33mil ish. For basically been sh*t a running the club. But i digress. Sorry for going OT

If the club has been run first and foremost to line Doug's pockets, why has the board not paid shareholders a dividend for (as far as I can recall) the last three years? Because of the massive losses dougs been racking up. And why do that when he could more easily vote for his bonus!!! :evil:

So.... i need to get this straight as my stomach has just turned. IF this AV06 or Neville Bid 70mil. Then Randys Bid is dead??? will he have to re-bid???? Or can the board just say: "he is our preferred bid, p*ss off"

Im beginning to loose hope of this happening in a reasonable amount of time. basically p*sspants messing around and business skill for stretching things out has led to us effectively (in my eyes) writing a season off. with this team we aint gonna do much! :evil:

I think he could realistically believe he can do a good job and still stay in power. this is why i was hoping for an appointment AFTER a new board had took over. With the most of the fans the Apathy Blanket is snugly on. Some think that the thin bare injury prone squad we had last week has turned in to a bunch of super-heroes. Im still worrying.

Im now back on Bristol St. Working for the NHS 9 to 5. ive lost all motivation and i want to know where my careeer is going. Music-wise, most my ties were cut when i went down south. TV wise, one produce from Top gear recommended i spoke to Fifth gear here in Birmingham. I sent them an Email with details and got a rebuttla 30 mins later. my head is banging against the wall. Nope, i only feed the hand that has been feeding me. Let's face it, VT has been the only place where this takeover has been covered on topic, with a good mix of people who know how such transactions work, and lots of hopeful speculation dashed with a cracking sense of humour. SSN, 5Live, WM and especially TalkSport pale into insignificance next to VT he know how to flatter!!!
