Wonder what the sky figures will be ?
Man U v Bayern managed to draw 1.76 million viewers and the most viewed programme on Sky 1 , Lost only attracted around 1.1 m
so my guess is that Sky are gonna struggle to attract lots of people
don't know in whose advantage that will work ?
Putting on a media outlet that is not available for the mass public is pandering to Murdoch. It's bad enough we are having these but to allow Murdoch to start to influence things like he does with Fox in the US is a major problem.
If they thought they had to put it on a different network to ITV and BBC, why not C4? or just on the radio (then we could have removed that shite about body language etc)?
This.
Sky is not free-to-air, therefore a percentage of the population, me included, are being denied the right to form a judgement over the entire series of debates.
Democracy?
Pah!
Go to a pub and watch it then.

but neither has said why.
As they want to maintain our nuclear deterrent.

They hate us though! Quite amusing the amount of bile pointed in our direction on their websites.
Any links? i could do with getting wound up before going to the match tonight - always gets me in the mood for a good old sing song....at their fans who will be sat down for the whole match.
Have a look on Bluekipper. You’ll see Masso and his bitter chums all whinging and gnashing their teeth at us being ‘utter carts’ and how vastly overrated we are. I think it comes down to the media coverage we got before last Christmas, as like a gaggle of spoilt teenagers they all got a wee bit jealous that Everton weren’t getting the coverage they perceived they should be as we were instead.

Havent lost to everton for quite a while if my memory serves me correct, I expect a villa win tbh.
Going 2-0
Aye, about 5 years ago. Its their only win in 21 years at Villa Park.

Just look at your last two games. When you needed a spark and somebody with real quality, you were badly lacking. Now compare that with the Man City game.
You’re a noticeably poorer side without Arteta, as most teams would be.
Yeah, I already said we were a poorer side without him (as any team would be) but we DO have a cutting edge without him, as proven by the fact we picked up some good results in the year he was out.
Every club does. I said you were a poorer side without him, you didn’t infer that I meant you were incapable of winning a game without him did you?
In the past two games you’ve looked like you’re winding down for the end of the season, couple this with you missing several key players and a very poor record at Villa Park, leads me to think that we’ll be alright.

2-0
Pienaar & Osman
Nah, no Arteta equals no cutting edge.
Yes because in the year he was out we never won a game because we had no 'cutting edge'

All this "power to the people" is a bit Socialist isn't it?
No, shrinking the state is core conservative ideology.

The Green Man. They have a BBQ and lots of space to stand outside, while if you can’t get in to get a beer, there is a kiosk selling cans.

I love watching 40 odd coaches chock full of inbred troglodyte scum trundle past at the Matalan island.

Nick Clegg’s biggest policy is ‘hey look at me, I’m mates with Vince Cable! Vote Lib Dem!'.
To be fair, thats better than "Hey, look at me, I'm friends with Peter Mandelson"
Mandelson has friends?!

I’ll be voting Conservative.

As Risso, Awol and Gringo et al said, I find it impossible to absolve Labour from their responsibility in the worst recession any of us have seen in our lifetime. To do so, would be wrong.
So you honestly believe that Gideon and Dave would have kept Britain (and using your logic the world!) out of recession?
Honestly, I have no idea, as we’d be hypothesising. I cannot blame a Conservative Government that didn’t exist, for mistakes it didn’t make in an economy it didn’t mismanage.
I can however point the finger towards Labour and their utter incompetence.
-
Of course the recession - albeit a worldwide one - is Labour's fault an of course Gideon would have dealt with it so much better - hilarious! The recession was worldwide, do you believe Labour created a worldwide slump.
No. I believe Labours reckless and incompetent mismanagement of the economy contributed to our major recession.
I think only a fool would trust them to (mis-) manage it again after they’ve failed so spectrally and with such disastrous consequences for millions of people across this country.

The Tories haven't changed tho, they still are very much clung to their old policies. I am voting Labour because I prefer stability, I don't see Cameron improving the country one little bit. Cons will make it harder for the poor families.Hang on dude, what you say the Tories will do is exactly what Labour have been doing for the last thirteen years! You ignore what Labour have done and say that is what the Tories will do as a justification for not voting for them. I'm not trying to say who you should vote for, just that you seem a bit blinkered to reality.… but we’ve just gone through the worst depression since the 1920’s, how is that a mark of stability?
-
Assuming for a minute that doesn't happen then Osborne is more credible than Darling imo. Darling's figures are based on economic growth of 3.5% in 2011 which is simply fantasy. The Tories might not turn out to be amazing but Labour have proved themselves to be utterly incompetent and returning a Brown led government would spell disaster for the UK.
Absolutely Awol.
I think that is ultimately, the thought that will go through all but the hardened Labour voters minds when they enter the booth in May, and their answer to it will actually ensure the Conservatives get the 7.5% they need.
-
I think ultimately it will be funded by a VAT increase, which I think Labour would also have liked to have done in addition.

I would imagine an online gambling company.

The Blackbird is decent.

its gonna be like that west brom 'derby' game in 2006 when there was only about 35k there
Well if 37k were sold yesterday and Dingleompton had sold nearly 2000, you'd expect there to be 40k on.

Another must win game in a series of must win games, with other fixtures this week we have probably got an opportunity to gain points on teams so need to take advantage. Wolves will no doubt raise their game for us but they are a poor side and we should and must beat them.
I think you are doing Wolves a diservice there. They have actually played extremely well in pretty much all the games I have seen recently. They struggle to score but always compete, even against the top 4. if they had a half decent striker I think they would be a comfortable mid table team.
We will have to play well to beat them. A draw should be easy enough thoug, as scoring is also our problem.
Really?
Everytime I’ve seen them, their only method of attack has been to attack the edge of the 18 yard box with high balls and looked generally poor and worthy of their place in the league.

The 60 league goals they’ve conceded suggests they’re not very good at it.
