General Just a quick question about A-ROD salary with the Yankee's. I have just read that it is going to be $275m over the next 10 years :shock: - how do the baseball owners afford these type of salaries?

General, this may have been mentioned before. Would it be possible for the steps that lead to the Upper Holte be painted, because at the moment they are a very dirty white / grey / black, and they look awful! Thanks for your comment regarding the supporters on Saturday, I stayed until the end although it was very painful viewing!! it is at times like that when the team need us most. General I was very impressed with the changes that have been made to the ground, and obiously the holte pub. But just a quick question regarding the new eadvertising screens that are round the bottom of three of the stands, is there any reason why they do not go around the D E Stand?? Also catering again was poor, I was thinking of having a drink in the holte end lower but queues at the bars made me decide not to bother!!

It is a difuicult situation with Moore, as he enters his last year of his contract. If he does not play a lot this coming season and if as expected we sign another striker he will then be 4th or even 5th choice. I cant see him then wanting to sign a new contract and he will then leave and will go for next to nothing, so do you take the option to sell him now for a couple of million or risk losing him for next to nothing??, personally take the money. We have lost out too many timesin the past on the Bosman ruling!!

On another Villa website, it is claimed that supposedly Bramble is in talks with the club today!! If this is the club moving forward, then who are we going to sign next - Emile Heskey, Nicky Butt!!

Although I am not too disappointed that we have not signed anyone yet (still a long way to go) it does seem that everyone we get linked with seems to prefer to join another premiership club. We may have to settle for players who are not our 1st choice signings but could be our 2nd or 3rd choices. I hope that we are not in for a summer of dissapointment

I also think it is nailed on that bellamy will be in a Villa shirt next season!! Bellamy will bring that bit of nastiness that we need!!

If Gabby wants to go then there is not a lot the club can do about it. Look what happened when United came sniffing after Yorkey!! The player has all the power, it does not matter if you are not a selling club, or how much money you have, because every top player wants to win trophies now, the promise that we will be challenging for CL in 2 - 3 years time will not pacify a young ambitious footballer. Also if Gabby is currently on 18k a week at United he would double that!!

Do we really want a player who is attracting the attention of Bristol City!! The trouble with MON is that he is too loyal, deals for Berger and Delaney, and letting Sutton take the summer to decide his future prove that. The salaries of these players could be used to bring in 2 players who could make us a top six side. Lets get rid of the deadwood and look for quality, if the club wants to sell 24,000 + season tickets both MON and the Board will have to show REAL ambition.

General Previously you have stated that the kit will not be changed every season. However it seems to me that for the next 3 seasons we will have to change our kit every season. 1. Season 2007 - 08 - Nike - Sponsor 32 red .com 2. Season 2008 - 09 - Nike - New sponsor (whoever that may be) 3. Season 2009 - 10 - Nike - New sponsor - I would assume that as part of Nike's contract with ourselves they would expect the home kit to be changed every 2nd season. Can you please let me know if this is correct? Also thanks for all that Mr. Learner, you and the Board are doing to restore our club to where it rightly belongs.
